Omg Autumn Ballad was the first drama that I was going to give full 10 rating! And they ruined it in the end!!! Just today, I was going to comment about it because its the only airing drama I absolutely loved along with this one . And I have the same ominous feeling now. That one series was the biggest shame of c-dramas ever, exactly be ause it was outstandingly good before the last eps. And this one...i do t know...but...
I dont want XiYun to just remember her XLH life, i want her personality back! If it doesnt return then it's not XLH and it would mean she died for real on that hill and it's SE. It's like Im watching a different show, Iam here because of DFQC and XLH - he's the all powerful lord and she a little orchid, nothing else. If I wanted to watch another show with different characters, I would, but this is not it. I am scared of today's last episodes.....

Looks can be so deceiving but I cant be deceived. I liked him a lot in the beginning, before I saw his mask fall. Its easiest when comparing to other character, for example XLH. She doesn't have an appearance nor demeanor of a respectable immortal, shes innocent and seemingly childish and sometimes annoying but look at what she did, her way of thinking and intelligence, she proved everyone wrong. Shes more than what she appears to be And Rong Hao -seemingly calm, seemingly easy-going and charming when he needs to, seemingly pitiful when he needs to justify himself...everything seemingly, everything a mask. No wonder he actually wears one. And look at what he did without remorse. When someone seems to be so perfect and have many good qualities, those are such red flags.
Despite every image he created of himself, including the image he created to lie to himself that hes doing things for a good reason, what's real and evident from actions is that he's a lowly being without empathy for others, without remorse and can't ever be even a third of a worthy person as XLH, DFQC and everyo one of the main characters here. His "friendship" to CH is also such a lie and a weapon to manipulate his "best friend", glad CH finally saw through it No amount of sad past and good appearance can hide that you're a loser of a man
As for the actor though - amazing! Want to seem him play a lead role!!!

The scene at the ruins of her tribe, when she was told they were killed by the Moon tribe and she was sooo smart and still made her choice to stay where she knows she's loved, knowing that war is war and this happened 30,000 years ago ..I was speechless, she was more mature than the oldest characters in the series, more mature than everyone combined. Love her so much

Yes, everyone is sad about DFQC loosing a loved one but XLH lost Everythiiiing - her LIFE! My heart aches for her! And the last words she heard from him were in the palace, saying to her that he didn't love her ;( nobody truly respected her and so many people disregarded her and she sacrificed for everyone, she was so epic, absolutely brave and deserved the best life but she couldnt get it. ..
she wasn't responsible for the Chidi curse but this foreign to her body spirit was tied to her, taking away her life energy, be ause of things that happened way before her birth, bevause of the sins of Rong Hao who thought that he can heal his insecurities by faking devotion and killing and ruining everyone
I think the master of XLH gave the Destiny book to DFQC not because she knew what was going to happen but be ause she didn't - it wasn't in th book. So thats a way to show him that fate was different but the choices of XLH were made out of love and they werent in the book. That's a way to show him everything can be changed and see how his love changed XLH,too and her whole destiny path. She was probably never even meant to go to the Moon tribe and stay with him or sacrifice for him

When they manipulated the God of War to stay quiet and accept reality, they did it together, knowing they're on the same side...It was such a shame, so disgusting! And they both had a smirtk,..ugh..RH was just going to get what he deserves but of course the emperor can't admit that the soldiers weren't killed by Moon Tribe and couldn't admit that all disgusting things were done by a Heavenly Immortal and not the enemy

I was just thinking of posting something about Jieli! Didnt know people.wrote bad stuff about her...but to me, she had the wooorst start in life, she was literally brought up by psychopaths and she is constantly manipulated by them, never being able to get help. She is in a real bad situation and she thinks there is no one that could possibly set her free from this, it's basically all she has known and she still did many things right and found good people that love her and she loves them back. Im hoping she gets out of this hell soon, she is a real victim

Ronghao deserves nothing anymore, it's really sad for me to see how his actions that hurt thousands of people can be...."looked from different perspective", how it's understandable and we shouldn't judge because if "sad backstory" or be ause he did it with tears in his eyes and it's pitiful. Like, he was numerously called out that what he does is absolutely unacceptable and he still continued, fully conscious of what hes doing, and it's still..."because he was in a difficult situation".

DFQC was maaany times in difficult situation and made selfless choices. Not to say you should sacrifice always BUT it,s obvious when someone is full of himself and willing to sacrifice other people's lives, being a murderer is not a matter of perspective...when you do certain things you should be judged and called out, he doesn't even hide.
I dont care that he was cold when he was 8 or he used to be in love(now he isnt really)...dont be a bad human being and kill others for "reasons". Simple. Whats more simple is - give sympathy only to those who deserve it
