I liked his majestic aura & hellfire powers. I miss seeing him in his regal black & gold robes.
Oh I forgot that scene! One of the scenes that made me go "oh yes, that would be one goood drama"<3 lol He's a true Hades and she is totally Persephone <3
Same lol, especially during the parting scene when DFQS cried a bucket and scream like crazy
Maybe they covered his cries with music because otherwise they risked comparing the cries of DFQC with those of Li Chengyin lol we clearly heard LC's crying, it was iconic, now we got sad music so it's more ......umm....refreshing looool (C-drama fans things :) I shouldn't be laughing, its not even funny, they both did so good.
I feel quite sorry for Ronghao. The other guys in the drama are quite lucky to meet the right persons & be dropped…
I was sorry for gim in the beginning but now? After seeing perfectly clear what he does is not out of love or "desperation" but out of pure desire to possess and selfishly hurt others so he would feel more powerful(as always ..insecurities... inferiority complex...victim mentality...)? He's a hypocrite to continue saying he does it it for his shifu when, after a certain point, we could see he does because he wants to. Just that. He always says he has no choice - that is exactly how criminals justify what they do in their head when deep inside they know very well they have choices but they wouldn't sacrifice their own all-consuming selfish desires for responsibility . What happened to him as a child is sad, his choices after are made with intent, knowing what he does is wrong. He doesn't deserve being "understood" anymore. Others in the series, in even worse conditions, made far better and more humane choices, so who is he to be given the sad-life-pass to hurt other people and use them, taking their choices away?
Normally, I always replay scenes I like, but in some special cases, ironically with the most powerful and beautiful scenes....I can't make myself press the button even though I know those are scenes where the team put everything to be made and remembered, it's a culmination in the story ...and I just couldn't watch it for a second time. Will remain something beautiful that passed quickly and yet they are the most unforgettable. Maybe when Im ready...
The only thing I dared to replay are the Arbiter's words...just...the most powerful "spell" you can hear and believe with all your heart that it's true. Whoever has watched, knows what I'm talking about, we will all remember it...
"Orchid, you don't understand. Love is unreasonable. Weather it's good or evil. Be it a fairy or a human, if you…
Yes. This. It took the series to another level just by a few words , never expected it form Asian TV, where fate is put on such high regard. This is what makes this series different, Im so happy Im watching it, best love story in...I dont know, years. Like...damn. the last words ..true for so many things, for love especially
Love and Destiny and Ashes of Love are maybe my favourite
The actors are veterans, especially ML(Chang Chen), their acting is a drastic difference.to most of c-dramas these days, it elevates the series so much, haven't seen another xianxia with such a good acting scope of the actors and great, greeeaaaaat chemistry
Peopleee.. what are you all planning to watch after this drama is over(once we are done with sobbing) ??... any…
Dropped Alchemy of Souls and probably dropped Immortal Samsara and Love Like the Galaxy also(all of them couldn't keep my interest for different reasons) so....House of The Dragon is the only one left for now.
Alchemy of Souls reached 9 in MDL coz it’s a refreshing drama from the usual kdrama. Love Betwern Fairy and…
I like this one waaay better, dropped AoS long ago. It was not my thing, reminded me of an American teenage fantasy show from 00s, 2010s...it was missing a soul, most c-dramas portray emotions better than some current K-dramas, just a thing I've observed.
