It's been a while since a xianxia gave me butterflies! This one has a beautiful story coupled with beautiful music and I hope we get to see good progression and realistic emotions. The main actors act very naturally, especially ML, last episode was just magical! The story is very interesting, can't wait for more episodes!

Yuan Shen is such a low narcissist and manipulator. He's being trying to manipulate CSS from the beginning in doing what he wants - he doesn't love her one bit, he started following her only be ause she didn't give him the praise he's used to from everyone and she rejects him so his ego can't stand that. He's being so toxic and unnerving, she better never give him attention because that's what low people like him crave . No, I'm not falling for the idea that he has "fallen" for her even a bit, I know enough people like him in real life, it's all about him. I can't wait for her to put him in his place and he takes himself and all his insecurities to another place.

Meant that, it's logical that there would be more than one culprit - unfortunately in real life cases as this it's often about human trafficking and trafficking is done by many people, in different countries even. I already knew that from the beginning and in episode 14 it's a big reveal, like...the drama relies on music and the actors' expression to convey the shock ofc, but what about believability and logic...I'm more shocked that to this point they only talked about one culprit, they didn't need a clear proof to suspect more than one.

Can't disagree here. The plot devices are repetitive and the mystery really isn't that big and complicated for it to be presented like that for so many eps. I really liked the show, I still like it, but it surely isn't a perfect drama and has big problems with storytelling, it started getting boring because of many scenes that don't bring value to the plot or the characters...I think there should have been more mysteries, ofc well made, to solve than the main one being the only big plotline they are still clinging to. More complicated and interesting mysteries have been solved in shows faster than the one here.

Will watch till the end because it's a good show in some aspects and is already close to the end but they should have thought more highly of the audience and solved the problems with the pace and solved the mystery already because how it is adding thaaat much meaning to the drama...the main characters' whole lives revolve around it without them being real active participants in it - neither in the past nor in the present.
Also many things we already predicted before, including the reveal this episode and every time it's presented as something soo surprising and new when actually it's in a way, unfortunately, logical because of the situation
