About Charlie racing, I don't know if it's suspension of disbelief when everyone in the team had a wtf reaction. Nobody agreed with Babe. It's obvious he's being partial. Yet, his plan isn't that stupid. Way is the one who can win the race but they need another racer to slow down the other teams. That can be Dean or any other guy from X Hunter, they even suggested North and Sonic. So why not Charlie? No one really thinks Charlie is going to win. He's there to help the team win the competition.

"Charlie that, the secondary characters aren't developped enough, this isn't like in the novel....". Can people be patient nowadays and wait for the story to unfold and the characters to reveal themselves? Since ep2 you've been criticizing the series for no logical reasons. Have you ever seen a mystery series reveals all the important stuff in the first part of the story? Never. It's not done or else it wouldn't be a mystery. Same logic applies for PitBabe. Would it make sense to have Charlie's intention spelled out now? Would it make sense to have the whole plot with Tony/Babe/alphas exposed in the first episodes? We're 4 episodes out of 13, yet you'all talking trash like it's completed and it was bad all along. BL fans are pissing me off more and more. I can't with the double standards and the lack of objectivity. They want new plots but aren't satisfied when they get it and don't appreciate new love dynamics. They want quality bls but call them boring when they take times to set up the story and build the tension. Who says they're in love? Right now they're developing feelings (though I believe Charlie loved Babe before appearing in his life). Babe has finally opened his heart to someone. He likes Charlie but has a hard time admitting it (and Way manipulation doesn't help). Each episode we have BabeCharlie interactions where we see their relationship progresses subtly. They had sweet romantic moments but it seems it's not enough... Not all romance need intense passionate moments as you said. PitBabe isn't a romantic series with the classic portrayal of romance (tropes galore, slowmow, love declaration...). It's a daring choice from the makers that is quite fitting for this kind of series.

Exactly why I like him. He's not just cute, he's confident and brave to go up against Tony. He's matching Babe's attitude with cuteness and stuborness. I don't know why people don't see that he really likes Babe. Yes, he's lying about his intentions but his feelings for Babe are geniune.

Yes, we've seen Way manipulating Babe since the first episode but it was subtle. I like that they went heavy on it during ep 4 cause some people didn't notice: we can see Babe hypnotized by Way and Jeff seeing the future.
