Idk if you already got your answer, but the timing of XYH's confession wasn't really the best. They have a competition the next day and we know how QZX is very serious about volleyball, so he couldn't really afford to have these ~fluctuating feels~ in such a critical moment.

I haven't watched the movie, but to normal standards, yeah he's pretty dumb lol. But to cdrama standards (esp the commonly exaggerated ones), I'd argue he's just alright :)

Randomly checked this out again after dropping it after 7 episodes and wow, the rating got lower by a lot, it used to be 8.5 iirc :( Anyway I enjoyed this at first esp as someone who is just starting out on the "adult life", but the characters and their decisions frustrated me a lot. I know it's supposed to be "realistic", but even then it was still too much :( Maybe it's not just for me :(
