I haven't seen that drama yet, but there's definitely been a fair share of older men-younger women dramas, so you never know. I just have this feeling Haru will end up with one of the younger guys though.

He doesn't look like he's 35. Most of the supporting actors are playing older characters, but they seem plausible and he really doesn't.

Shibasaki is brilliant though.

same here. I went through a lot of tissues. Every time they talked about how Saruwatori hadn't come back yet... I'm really happy I read an article which said Haruma wasn't in the episode because I think it would have been harder to watch if I thought he was going to show up. The end was so sweet how they implied that Keita had showed up finally when we all know that would have been impossible. It's this odd mixture of reality and fantasy that is so bittersweet.

Just watched the last episode. It really went down hill.

And then the end makes no sense when they show three years from now but they don't even include anything about her father and if they have a relationship but show Nanoko?? Also I don't really like how Odaka was handled.

Interesting that you hate Yoshitakas character but don't say anything about Emito's character who is cheating on his Kiyoshi Shigematsu and has a kid.

I do agree that the show seems to present cheating as not a black and white issue which personally I is wrong.

I do like how Iwatani is a father figure for Keito. Sasaki Kuronosuke is great as Iwatani.

I also wonder if the writers intentionally put parallels between Keito's life and her mother's.
