Great show overall. A few things here and there that could've been better but still great. It's lite, funny at times and a good love story.
--heartmelt-- Han Ji-min --/heartmelt-- Sometimes I feel like a 15-year kid. She's so great. It's a good thing I'll *never* meet her otherwise I'll become mute. I'm going to miss her since I've seen all I wanted to watch from her. :\

"...props to the creators/writers for being able to play with my emotions so easily..." Same here. Of all other SK dramas I've watched, One Spring Night is the best I've seen. Everything just felt...real. I'm not that young anymore so to me, everything just made sense. I might not agree, but it did. Lee Jeong-in, Han Ji-min's character just blew my mind. Just like Tyron in Game of Thrones. I can relate to him on so many levels. Koodo's to the writers who put us in another world and forget life for a short while. :)
I cannot get over how young and childish the main actress looks... Cringeworthy really
She's a good actress nevertheless. Look at where she was at the beginning of the show and where she is at the end. She evolved a lot. Also, check Park Hye Soo's projects out and you'll see she's been in some very well rated shows as main lead.
Some things I really wanted to happen in this drama:•the Dad to stop being a selfish jerk and understand his…
You are saying a lot of things. I've read somewhere that some of their shows are a reflection of South Korean society. They will bring to light things like abusive parents, school and/or work bullying or suicide. I've never been to South Korea so I don't know their mind set. But I've been to other places and sometimes reality slaps you. That show might be frustrating at times and I think the production wanted it that way.
She broke up with her boyfriend when she knew that she wanted to be with Yi Ho. But all the people talked about…
She started to have emotions for another man while she was still in a relationship. For some, this is cheating. She broke up with her ex over the phone while standing in front of the new guy and looking at him. That was really mean for the ex. But again, this show isn't about perfect people where they never make any mistakes. Just regular folks with all their flaws.
Uhh, I really can't stand the female lead, if she wasn't happy with her boyfriend of four years she should have…
FL might have had her reasons for doing so. Maybe she was comfortable with her relationship up until the pharmacist showed up and gave her a reason to start moving. ML wasn't any better at times. Her old boyfriend didn't have any problems breaking up with FL. His main problem was ML for some reason. This kind of story is more realistic than any other shows where a FL will *always* choose the jerk instead of a guy who's there for her. If you listen to the song "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd, you might understand her state of mind a bit as to where her life is at the beginning of the show.
Episode 3 and so far worst FL ever : pushy, annoying, too intense... And the acting is so over the top... she's…
If you check Park Hye Soo's work, you'll see she's been in some pretty good shows as main roles. In Age of Youth, she plays the exact opposite character (extremely shy or introverted person). I really like her...but that's just me.
I'm almost finished with the series and don't understand why Chilbong is so obsessed with Na Jung. She's immature…
I think Na Jung's immaturity goes with her age. Most people only remember this. For those who have kids between 16-20 years old, they will tell you how "mature" they are sometimes. In the end, what I've noticed about Na Jung is how she changed after coming back from Australia. Chilbong never stood a chance against Trash. The bound he and Na Jung share is so deep, it was just a matter of time for them to reconcile.
Absolutely great show. Parents yelling to come home eat, check. Having to go out to make friends, check. Gang meeting up in someone's room and have fun, check. I can so relate to most of the characters and the way of life back then. All about growing up.
I dislike Cha Eun-Ho so much. He's just a young and jealous prick who acts like a teenager and thinks for himself first. And Kang Dan-i likes him ??? oh well. I dropped it at episode 8 when I had this feeling this drama pushed Kang Dan-i into Cha Eun-Ho's arms. bah...what a waste
i think He’s the cause of this mess too. If he copes better, everyone would have been so much happier. Min Jung…
I think Gang-hwa really likes Min-jung a lot but doesn't love her. Like I said, being a single father in SK is hard so Gang Hwa's marriage with Min-jung is more of a convenient one than based on love. Further more, Min-jung automatically becomes Seo-woo's mother by SK laws when she married Gang-hwa. This is the second K-drama I watched in my life after Something in the Rain. Both shows made me a big fan of K-drama.…
Did you like "Something in the Rain"? If you did, you should definitively watch "One Spring Night". Same write/director and some actors/actresses and was released a year after "Something in the Rain".

In South Korea, mental health issues seem to be taboo.
The show only scratched the surface of Eun Yi Soo's problems.
Look at where she was at the beginning of the show and where she is at the end. She evolved a lot.
