I have a sibling on the spectrum, and while all people are different, specific behaviors I found from young woo are really applicable to my brother. With mental health, it can be difficult to portray since everyone’s experience is different. That’s why I don’t necessarily look for “complete accuracy” in shows with representation because it’s so broad; I’m happy though when writers or actors take time to research mental health illnesses in order to understand the subject on a deeper level and sprinkle in little details that can add to the character.
