A lot of the expectations of its shareholders is on the success of Disney+ rather than its theme park. So Disney plus success is paramount to overall health of the company.

I thought for sure it would be on Netflix, since Blackpink's documentary is on Netflix, and Netflix recognizes Jisoo's popularity.
Like I said, those missed opportunities is going to haunt them. Who knows what happened behind the scenes, but yeah not being on Netflix hurts.

I am not downplaying people's feelings about what they feel. I just said for me personally, it's not a big thing. I don't put too much weight on historical distortion. I don't mean disrespect to people, but I view movies/dramas as pure fiction, even though they claim they are biopics. If I want to know more about a particular event, I read and research about it, and not based it on a movie or drama.
I just personally don't feel historic distortion is enough to sink an actor/actress career, but that's my opinion.
There is this Japanese Movie called Always Sunset on Third Street. They masterfully used current events, and timelines seamlessly. The many events, world wars and etc... are literally snippets and backdrops that does not detract from the story the movie is trying to tell.
Great movie if you have to time to see it.
The thing is, by Snowdrop romantizing either ANSP or Pro democratic movement, someone is bound to be offended somehow. They could have just made it a love story from that time, no need to make the ML a spy or the SML a ANSP agent. I don't personally feel it enrichens the story that much more that her two boyfriends are on opposing sides. Plus the age gaps between the leads based on the wikipedia are literally all over the place.

That's good to hear, but not being on Netflix hurts. Just like World of the Married not being on Netflix hurt (eventually they did put it on Netflix), but it would have been much more hype if it had been a live airing. Live it was hype because the ratings were so high. And by the time it did come on Netflix, I didn't bother to watch it anymore.
There is something to be said about watching a live airing with other MDL users. But going through the trouble of going to a streaming website is enough of a barrier for someone like me. And I am sure this barrier exist with other people as well.
I am just saying, not everyone is going to go on streaming sites to watch Snowdrop. I for one would not. I will just probably wait for the whole thing to be shown on Disney+ or Netflix hopefully.
