If NDS told SDM the truth earlier, she would have broken up with him, and went to HJP earlier. So he bided his time. After the kiss, NDS knew his chances with SDM grew exponentially.

That's who HJP is, even since he was a young boy, he is tactless and rude, that's just who he is. I'm not defending that behavior, because it is who he is. But beneath that is a genuine soul.

I mean, the only relief I would get as an HJP fan is to see him either happy with SDM, or happy with Grandma. I don't want them all chumming around because it's just not realistic in real life anyway.

He has a weaker fortitude compared to SDM. The thing is though, HJP points out NDS weaknesses, but NDS doesn't want to hear criticism, he just wants praise, that is why even from his own father, he curls up and does nothing.

HJP's reason for not wanting to tell the truth is not to clear to be honest, you can assume the reason you say, and I can assume he does it because he's not ready to face the possibility that SDM likes him, he's wrestling with his emotions.

Actually, she didn't separate the two, it was Grandma asking if she could. I never claimed she kissed him due to the letters. The letters were necessary for her to lower her defenses and let NDS in.

And as i've said before, due to close working proximity, and ample sexual attraction, NDS could have been any other guy, and the perchance for a relationship would still happen, as SDM's defences would have been down, and easier for the new guy to get into her safety circle.

they can decide, but it's subjective, and not objective. And in today's times, notion of intelligence varies. What you consider a testament of intelligence, another person may disagree with. Things like beauty, intelligence, and etc... are hard to quantify as the test that determines these factors are inherently subjective.

Something objective for example would be a foot race. I can say i'm faster than you, since I did a 100m in like 10 seconds or something, but that term fastest man on earth or etc... are nothing but superlatives meant to entombed a certain fact, when that isn't possible due to the constant change of these different terms, whether they are objective or subjective.

Boundaries, no different than territorial boundaries exist to homogenize certain groups. And homegenization's byproduct is elitism. Once these boundaries are breached, then diversity is added and elitism is weakened.

Yes, your right, the reason that SDM is doing all this is to prove to WIJ that choosing the mother was the wrong decision, but WIJ became successful choosing the mother. And even if SDM becomes successful, she still suffered for a long time before she achieved success. So logically, choosing the mother would still be the right decision, because she achieve the success easier.

Yeah, WIJ is quite cold, but since not much screen time or backstory is spent on her, we don't know if it's her defence mechanism or not. I'm not excusing it, because it's still foul, but at least let's try to understand a bit why?

I think the issue with the mom and WIJ stems from the fact that the daughter started being greedy and only caring about money, and started to side with the father more because he is the source of the money.

I think the dad basically manipulating WIJ is what made WIJ want to branch out on her own, I don't think she really cares about the competition from SDM, that's my take.

I'm saying, the writer is not spending enough time on the other side characters. And the love triangle is distracting to the plot, and the reason people talk about the triangle is because there isn't anything else to talk about.

At the point you are talking about, there is already this animosity between HJP and NDS. Competitiveness has already began between them.

The comment may have been harsh, but it's true. NDS in his anger in HJP wants him to butt out. Well HJP, not a fan of NDS, treats him like a kid, like you don't know anything.

It's pretty much an epeen measuring contest between them two. They are both wrong to do this.

Prior to meeting SDM, NDS was making the right decisions. Afterwards, from a logical stand point he wasn't. He is just lucky that SDM has plot armor and when she does something, it Mary Sue's the heck out of it.

Your telling me, making decisions based on his infatuation of SDM is the right decision? I don't buy it. In real life, this kind of decision making does not work.

I support my feelings for NDS with my examples, how you choose to interpret my words, and examples is entirely up to you, I don't plan to convince you otherwise.

And actually HJP and Grandma both wanted to tell the truth at different times, but it's actually NDS who didn't want, because it would not be beneficial to him nor are they at his terms.

HJP didn't stop him. If HJP stopped NDS, then NDS would not even have made it into Grandma's home. The fact that NDS was able to go to Grandma's home and converse with her proves that HJP didn't stop him. He tried to, but he didn't. The onus was on NDS, and he decided, regardless of HJP to lie some more.

In NDS mind he knows that 15 year old NDS is still a big part of SDM life, why do you think he keeps asking why SDM likes him? Because he is afraid that when SDM finds out the truth, she will leave him. Now if SDM told him, i love your hair, I love your hands, I love your current personality, then no doubt NDS would just tell the truth because it shows SDM has falled for the real NDS. But that wasn't the case.

Whether something exist or not, depends on the observer. Have you heard of Cryptocurrency? Most of it has no value, no physical presence, it's not real. But because investors/people feel there is value, then it becomes real.

Fake NDS may not be real, but as long as it is real in SDM mind, then it is real.

You thinking that the smarter people can define whos superior or not, what is fact, and what is not, is in itself the problem.

When you live within limited boundaries, it creates elitism. When your in that bubble, you shun those that dare cross it, because they don't belong to your circle, your world. This is pretty well documented.

How often do you see hyper rich people hanging out with people with no money? There is a reason the rich send their kids to ultra pricey, private schools, and education is just a minor aspect of it.

No, I never made the correlation of geniuses and billionaires. I merely used people who are wealthy as a parallel to people with superior intellect.

You see, the problem of being a genius or a billionaire is there can or will be someone better or richer than you, so the notion of being better is but a fleeting moment. Thus, the perceive isolation you feel is also ever changing, as the variables of intelligence and wealth changes with the waves.

But to WIJ, SDM is insignificant and she barely bothers trying to compete. SDM at times reek of insecurity. I feel those moments when they show that her reasons for achieving success are misguided and stem from insecurity. Grandma even had to comment, why can't you just let Injae be?

When you base the height of your success on the success of other people, you will never win, because there will always be someone more successful than you, and thus happiness will rarely if ever achieved.

If you set your own personal goals, and set your own bars of happiness, you will find life more fulfilling.

In that way, WIJ will end up more happy. WIJ knew she could have stayed as a pawn of her father, and just do his father's bidding, and she will stay rich, and have financial security.

But she decided that she will strive for her own happiness, no matter how hard it would be.

At the point of the scrunchie, HJP had devolved into immaturity, which is points against him. He should have just been the bigger man. I suspect this is the writer's attempt to take off the heat from HJP so to speak.

Well, HJP is right, at that point in time, NDS has made several decision at the detriment of Cheul San and Yong San. Most recently to that point, choosing SDM over WIJ, that was a risk that paid off, but could easily have been disastrous and cost Cheul San and Yong San their careers. At that point NDS was putting SDM over the success of the company, so what exactly did HJP say that was so wrong? The tone of it? yeah it's called not sugar coating it.

The proof of NDS spiting HJP is there, but I have a feeling, even if I go and find the episode and timestamp it, it won't change your aggressive attitude, so why bother?

HJP and Grandma's Original lie, is they made up a fake persona, using a real life NDS name so that SDM could have a penpal so she would not be lonely. They are also responsible for setting up NDS to go meet SDM for ONE NIGHT, tell her he has a GF and disappear.

So all of that is Grandma and HJP.

NDS lie, starts when instead of telling SDM he has a GF, he tells SDM he doesn't and proceeds to date SDM fully knowing that she thinks he is the fake Dosan.

I use the term crime to state that in the eyes of even regular people, much less the law, it's one thing to pretend to be someone online, where it's buyers beware on what you believe or not in the internet, and it's another thing entirely to pretend to be somebody your not for your own benefit.

You are trying to create the theory that NDS was the victim here, that he is trying to protect Grandma and HJP's lie, and NDS himself was getting zero benefit, which I can easily debunk with a previous post I made on this matter. I would just need to find it.

I know, i'm just saying that it's not far fetched that HJP would trade his sad orphan life to grow up with both parents, regardless of how strict they are.

Family might be even so important to him, he would give up SDM to have a chance of having parents. Being an orphan is tough.

That's the thing, because the show has focused 90% on the love triangle, and almost not much time on the rest of the plot, the love triangle is all people can talk about.

What is there to talk about? The technical aspect of the business is barely discussed, the other characters are not fleshed out.

Only thing to discuss if ever is, who is the revenge guy. I mean, do you even know what WIJ is doing now? How about the mom of WIJ? The Grandma? How about the MIT twins? Alex? The parents of NDS? The Cousin? Saha? Cheul San? Yong San? What's up with them? Because the show doesn't spend much time on them, we don't know what is happening at all.

That's more the writers fault than anything.
