NDS didn't need to be the perfect guy, even without the history. The fact that NDS and SDM are working in such close proximity almost everyday, and both are ambitious for the company to succeed, sparks were bounds to happen.

You don't need to be the guy who understands SDM perfectly, sometimes people just grow close after working on a project together. Look at all the celebrities who marry co-stars, realize that it's a mistake and get divorce within 3 years.

I actually think that there are flaws that NDS has that the 15 year history erases.

Let me elaborate. Let's say you have a friend, you've known that person for 15 years, so even when she's crude, is greedy, or borrows money but doesn't pay you back. You kind of cut her some slack, because you have all this history.

Now imagine you meet someone for the first time, or an acquaintance even, and they act like this, would you cut them some slack? I doubt it.

Why would superiority complex be justified? It's wrong regardless of how smart you are.

Boundaries create Elitism. Society is majority average wage people, and the ultra wealthy make up a very very small percentage of the worlds population. Do they feel isolated? No they mingle with their fellow billionaires, and create an elitism utopia.

I agree, the more you know, the sadder you become. But being smarter also gives you the tools to understand how to become better, or at least treat the neutral path.

When your cocksure you rush decisions, you make mistakes. You fail, and you never leave. Being one of the less intelligent makes it harder for you to enter the ranks above you.

The difference between intelligent people and non intelligent people is. Smart people see the jail bars around them, and they know why they are there, thus are able to eventually break free. Dumb people don't realize there are jail bars, thus never bother trying to break free.

The part where NDS says "I have only one thing, and that's everything to me, you're taking it away from me."

and HJP responds "then let's change"

I know they are talking about SDM here, but I can't help but go pass the surface depth and think about it.

For NDS, the "it" he is referring to is the love of SDM. It's the only thing that matters to him, and HJP is taking it away from him.

And when HJP responded let's change. I know that they are supposed to be talking about SDM love, but what if HJP also meant, let's change life and circumstances. Let you NDS be the orphan with no parents, having to be successful with no one helping you at all. And I, HJP will take your life where I always had the love of my parents.

We know HJP has always craved a family, and maybe he doesn't understand how NDS, who has both parents, is saying that a girl is the only thing that matters in his life. If i'm NDS parents I would feel quite hurt. It's interesting that the next scene is actually NDS dad sorta kicking him out.

Pain and difficulty is all perspective, NDS feels he has the hardest life ever, but from a 3rd party standpoint, I don't agree. HJP has had a much harder life if I were to compare the two.

HJP gives tough love to SDM, calls her nosy, get's in her business, tells her her ideas won't work, she's wrong.

SDM responds by challenging him back, asking for advice, and in the end is thankful for the tough love, even gives gifts!

HJP gives tough love to NDS, calls him not CEO material, says his ideas won't work, he is wrong.

NDS responds by being angry at HJP, doing things purposely to spite him, kicks him out of Grandma's house, and in the end is not even an ounce thankful for the tough love.

Difference of SDM and NDS mental fortitude on full show folks.

Tough love exist, and its effectiveness is dependent on the receivers mental fortitude. Weak mental goes boom.

Yeah, but SDM has kind of put the NDS from the letters aside and focused what is in front of her, which is understandable.

Before SDM met NDS, all she had are the letters. So the letters represented her past, present, and maybe future.

But when SDM met NDS, the letters became just the past, history so to speak, because the "Real" NDS is in front of her.

I'm making a parallel, not saying these characters should go to jail. You've taken what I wrote literally. I was making a point that in terms of fault between the three characters.

Let us look at things logically.

The lie that HJP and Grandma made, could easily be foiled, once SDM asked to meet the real NDS. This is made worse because Grandma and HJP actually decide to use a real person. So all SDM had to do was meet the real NDS, ask him if he wrote the letters, and poof truth is revealed.

In NDS case, there is no way SDM could conceivable uncover the truth, unless NDS himself reveals it. Show me how she could have found out the truth? NDS had the copies of the letters, he knew what they wrote about. All he had to do was memorize the contents of the letter and he can easily prove he is the Dosan from the past. Are you going to tell me handwriting? NDS can easily lie and say, i've changed my handwriting since then.

The only one building more lies here is NDS. The lie has mutated to whatever fiction NDS has started.

They should close these comment section until the show is done then.

I don't remember ever enjoying any love triangle, it distracts and detracts from the original storyline.

The show has not discussed anything tech related in a loooong while.

HJP made fake persona to comfort SDM

NDS continues fake persona for his own benefit.

SDM, even though she had no physical contact with HJP fell in love with him. HJP cannot physically comfort her during her sad days, all he could so was support her with his words. WIJ even ask, how is it possible to fall in love through letters? SDM does anyway. The love was so strong, it lasted 15 years, and blocked many men.

HJP and SDM have barely spent any time together. The longest time they spent together was when he drove her home from that meeting in the boonies. And yet, SDM is at least curious about him, wondering even, if somehow HJP had some feelings for her as a girl. HJP at times wants to comfort her, but because of his situation in the lies, he is unable to. Even the string in SDM hair, he is unable to take out, because as a stranger to SDM, it's not his place.

If you've been in a real relationship, you will know a pen pal romance, long distance relationship, can never be as strong or replace one where you are in close proximity or can physically hold, hug or even kiss each other.

Now, regardless if NDS does not have the best personality, or he is nothing like HJP, he is still there. Just the fact he is there all the time, gives him an unfair advantage. Not only does HJP not have much contact with SDM, most of their correspondence is thru text or email.

In fact in real life relationships, this is normally the reasons extra marital affairs happen. Just working in close proximity, night after night with a handsome co-worker, feelings, attraction are bound to happen. But there is that unfair advantage of being able to see each other anywhere from 8-10 hours a day.

In fact, most long distance relationships tend to break up and falter due to the fact, no matter if you are on face timing every single day, difference in time zones, proximity of other attractive men who hit on you leads to temptation, and eventual break ups of LDR's.

So even though on a deeper level the connection between HJP and SDM is complete fire, the longer HJP doesn't fess up to his feelings and start a physical relationship (not necessarily intimate stuff, just being together) the less chance he has with SDM, because eventually SDM will fall in love with the real NDS, regardless of the lie, because they see each other for work everyday, and off work as well.

Feelings are just bound to develop, not necessarily because NDS is the one person who understands SDM the most, he is not. Saying yes to a women to everything she ask isn't understanding them, it's placating them. Which is why HJP challenging SDM, willing to shoot down her ideas, making notes to her presentation has more impact for me.

We will have to see if he reveals on his own, or SDM figures it out and confronts him.

Honestly, SDM isn't that great of a catch, she's a woman who is constantly comparing her status and wealth to her sister and other people. She is more insecure than NDS.

HJP and NDS can do better. I would prefer SDM ends up alone, and work on her career instead of doing some love lines, which will only serve as a distraction to her ambitious goals.

I don't think you give people enough credit.

Yes, the sad backstory may have been of the reasons to like HJP, but there are plenty of other reasons out there. It's just one aspect. His martyrdom mentality nonwithstanding.

NDS on the other hand has shown, even with a tragic backstory from his parent's view, he still comes off as less than stellar.

I don't know how anyone can even hate Grandma. She is like the nicest Kdrama character, I have ever seen.

He is pretending to be the NDS in the letters, when he is not. He is pretending that he has a 15 year history with SDM, he does not. He is pretending to remember all the things written in the letter, when he does not know.

He is lucky SDM doesn't just grill NDS more about the contents of the letter, and every time she did HJP was there to answer.

Pretending to have the accomplishments, history, and characteristic of another person, fake or otherwise, is the definition if Identity Fraud or Impersonation Fraud.
