NDS, as naive as people think he is, is better at lying and hiding his emotions than you think. Keep in mind this is after the GO-stop episode, where NDS is starting to suspect that HJP may have feelings for SDM. So the competitiveness of NDS is already starting to surface.

He saw that SDM and HJP seemed to be having a heart to heart talk, or talking about something serious at the least, in fact I suspect HJP was about to spill the beans on the lie. So he wanted to kind of interrupt it, steal the thunder so to speak with his big news, which included hugging SDM and everything. Kind of like showing HJP up, I mean look at HJP reaction afterwards. It worked, it made him sad. When SDM looks for HJP, NDS even asked "Why are you looking for him". That's already jealous NDS talking there.

And at this point, NDS does something sneaky. He tells SDM, "just ask me, i'll answer for HJP". I ask you, do you think this was right? I think this is wrong, let SDM ask HJP the question why stop her? Makes you think right?

Yeah, pretty immature from HJP there, he lost some points there for sure.

Actually, NDS has been provoking HJP for a few episodes now. But yeah still wrong for HJP to lose his cool, but let's not pretend he is just flipping out of the blue, there was definitely provoking.

I kind of don't want a war between these two over SDM to be honest, as i'm sure it will be handled poorly at this point. I'd rather SDM just choose in the next episode or two.

And there lays my problem with NDS. A good person would not do this.

He owed nobody to keep the secret, HJP didn't want it revealed, but since when does NDS care what HJP thinks? He's consistently shown he doesn't respect HJP.

He kept the secret to make SDM fall in love with him more than the 15 year letter NDS.

So, I don't want to hear anymore how NDS is a sweet boy, innocent, and etc... He knew what he was doing, and the lie has only gone this long because of him. He may not have started the lie, but it's because of him it's so big, convoluted and will hurt SDM big time when she finds out.

I mean imagine, being a first timer, and doing it with someone you thought you had a long history, only to find out, it's actually the twin brother? How mortifying...

Is it because as NDS says in the preview to prevent SDM from crying? But the longer and bigger the lie becomes, the more SDM will be hurt. Surely making SDM fall for NDS then telling the truth would be more painful?

What stop him from revealing the truth since Ep 2?

When he was in Grandma house, she shakes her head, as if to tell NDS not to say anything, but this was about her eyes, not the truth. So what stops NDS from telling the truth here? HJP even ask, "I thought you were going to tell the truth, what happened?" Now, if he decides not to tell the truth because of Grandma's eyes, I understand, but once he reveals the truth of Grandma's eyes to SDM, why hide the other lie still?

I'm curious, what is stopping him from telling the truth? I mean, I hear he is suppose to be a victim in all of this, and he's a good guy and all, and he's very innocent person. Why, given so many chance to tell the truth, he just does not? I mean after the end of Ep 7, he has had all the chances to do so, why not then, when emotions are running high?

I have never understood this part. Obviously HJP and NDS don't love each other, so it's not like NDS is doing it because he's protecting HJP. And out of the many advice of HJP, NDS doesn't listen to much of them, so why now?

That's when he first noticed HJP may have feelings past just mentoring. That's where it begins, you'll notice he becomes more hostile towards HJP after this scene.

Well you understood the notebook to be that, but the fact that he gave the notebook, which he probably read to SDM, and kept looking at SDM waiting for a reaction. And when SDM says, this looks like my Grandma's handwriting, and he stays quiet, speaks volumes to me. I don't know, for me, if someone tells you to keep a secret, regardless on my opinion, I keep that person's trust, because in the real world, I would lose that person's trust in the future. But it's Dramaland, so no ramification for NDS apparently.

I think that is what's happening here, HJP never showed NDS or told NDS he had intentions on SDM, but NDS assumed he did, and kept goading HJP, so HJP is just responding in kind. HJP doesn't seem like someone that would back out from a fight, or someone who gives up his pride easily.

I'll probably go with while you are sleeping, since seems to be recommended a lot.

I started Kdrama in 2017, so I 'm not using to watching those oldies, the production quality are so bad in the early 2010's lol.

I mean to be honest, if SDM and NDS do end up together and still work at STT, I don't think it would be a good idea, specially since one spouse has more voting power than the other, it would be a recipe for disaster IMO.

Yeah, I wasn't too happy that HJP stooped to NDS level, it was a blow to his character to act that immature. That scene was unnecessary.

I agree with that, HJP would not have helped without SDM and Grandma. It doesn't change the fact that he helped SST still.

My biggest fear is NDS replacing HJP in grandma's heart. I don't think my heart could take it... I always imagined Grandma is a hardcore MIJI shipper.
