It's not just the promotional material, it's the dramatic effects, the slow panning shots, the romantic settings (like that sunset lit on top of the building moment between NDS and SDM, I mean come on now! don't make it so obvious) There is just huge writer Bias.

In my experience, people who bottle up their emotions when their angry, can become quite dangerous people, as they are unable to express their anger in a healthy manner. And will always be in danger of releasing all the pent up emotions in a negative way.

I mean, Imagine the leader of the company, the guy who has the most shares, making decision using emotion, he would be kicked out of the board. But since he is 61% owner, who can kick him out right?
NDS dramatically changed ever since he cut his hair. I know NJH looks more handsome with his new hair, but I really like his original curly hair, as it really fit the fact that he is this goofy, nerdy coder, similar to the CEO of Pied Piper on the show Silicon Valley.
Just waiting for the foreshadowed betrayal, not quite sure who will betray the company, and for what reason. Hopefully the writer makes it believable.

but you still have crossed love lines here, and ship wars will still exist. The goal is not to have ship wars or love triangle at all IMO. The writer in this scenario, you, would get a lot of flak specially with KSH acting.
I mean we have to assume the chemistry from KSH and Suzy is still fire, and in this scenario, people may not buy that HJP and SDM just wants to be friend IMO.

I think that is the first time NDS realizes HJP may have feelings for SDM, and he purposely tells HJP, your history with SDM means nothing to the present relationship I have with her. I think at this point HJP is still confused with his feelings, but having someone challenge you like that, especially for macho men, will always have the same result.
When HJP went to grandma's house my heart was breaking for him. Like he did want to stop NDS from telling the truth, but once NDS agreed to take his advice, HJP was prepared to leave them, but then SDM invited him. Nothing wrong for him to have dinner since he does have a hidden relationship with Grandma, but the way NDS was kicking him out, lying that HJP had plans has got to irk HJP. I think HJP stayed for dinner because of how disrespectful NDS was being. Considering, albeit hidden, HJP has more of a relationship/history with Grandma and SDM, yet he is the one being kicked out. Heartbreaking.
The review notebook or feedback is for NDS and his team not really for SDM. NDS knew what he was doing by giving the notebook to SDM. He was just waiting patiently for SDM to connect the dots.
Yeah of course Grandma would not be angry, that is not the direction the writer is going, and doesn't fit the whole Grandma and NDS growing relationship. Every decision NDS makes for the company benefits SDM and not necessarily Samtech. But SDM is smarter than that and ignores the emotion, she does what is needed for samtech and not necessarily to protect herself or NDS.
The emotional maturity of NDS and SDM is like night and day. That is one reason I feel the pairing is so unrealistic. And from the next episodes it seems NDS hasn't matured much.
I call NDS the way I see it. I mean if NDS was someone I knew in real life, I would characterize him the same way. I don't like people who pretend to be nice on the outside, but have a manipulative nature. And trust me I know a lot of these people and I avoid them like the plague.

HJP being the protective older brother, creates a persona of a rich, successful, and kind man, because that is the man he wants his sister to marry, they chose NDS name because winning the math Olympics seems like the logical first step to become succesful.
When SDM seeks to find NDS, HJP finds that NDS is a loser and doesn't want his sister to fall for him. But as fate would have it SDM finds NDS anyway. But HJP knowing NDS is a loser, tries his best to make NDS the man he always dreamed his sister would marry, so he tries to "Fix" NDS.
NDS is being difficult because HJP is making him someone he is not, so he wants to tell SDM the truth, but HJP wont' allow it, because he hasn't' completely molded NDS into a wealthy man yet. NDS pleads that he wants to achieve success on his own ways, and not how HJP wants it.
SDM eventually finds out though before NDS has the chance to tell the truth. And although she blames her grandma and brother HJP, she ultimately gets angry at NDS, and they break up.
Add in a few angsty episodes, and SDM realizes she loves NDS for who he is, and not what his brother HJP has made him. They reconcile, and they live happily ever after.
This is how you avoid a love triangle and keep the same story.

And this shows as every decision SDM makes, NDS just says yes. They have a physical bond with their intertwined hands.
For HJP, she likes that he is nosy in her affairs as it makes her better. Also for some reason, she cannot explain, she likes it that HJP is minding her business, it also provides her with a comfort she cannot explain. Like when she sleeps in his car. So eventhough SDM and HJP does not have a physicals connection to HJP, she still feels connected somehow to her. She felt such a strong connection that she thought HJP might like her as a girl.
