Hospital Playlist:#1 in 2 countries Including SK#8 in 6 countries#17 for June#27 for the yearFinale rated 16.7%…
Here are what is trending in certain countries, which include US, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain and etc... It's not on any top 10 list of western countries.
And like i've said its in 9 asian countries. Which makes sense btw, because asian countries consume a lot of Kdrama.
Out of the 6 countries out there, nigeria, chile, ecuador, dominican republic, bolivia and mexico. 4 of those are in latin america, which also makes sense, since Teleseryas as they are known and Kdrama have quite a lot of similarities, and korean culture is quite popular in latin america, especially Kpop.
The 2 outliers are Bolivia and Nigeria, not sure why it's trending there. But the amount of netflix subscriptions in those 2 countries are quite low. Not even 1 million subscribers I believe.
I was wowed by how it showed that the time-traveling LG merged with the LG the current TE met in Gwanghwamun Plaza,…
Logical time travel would have TE1, TE2, LG1 and LG2.
KTEM doesn't bother with the logic. They just merged people left and right.
To put it simply. LG changed enough of the past to make sure that by the time 25 years has passed, the timeline that LG is in and the timeline that TE is in will be merged.
The timeline diverges when LG meets TE on his horse and TE hugs him first. That is why as TE says, everything happened earlier. Once the timeline diverge enough, the timeline LG is in and the one TE is in, matches up, enabling LG to meet TE.

it's not like people in SK don't watch it, just not a lot of them do. SK doesn't have that many NFLX subscribers.
The story of KTEM just doesn't really appeal to a very broad audience.
It's no different than let's say 2 variety shows The one that is a singing contest, vs one that is a dancing contest. The one that is a singing contest tend to have more viewers as compared to a dance competition.
Which is what i'm seeing here, KES the writer dropped the ball and didn't write a show with mass appeal. KTEM instead created a cult following, which is not necessarily bad, but considering the production cost, not the best use of the money either.
It's fun, I enjoy this comment section than the actual drama. I am only watching it so I can have discussions on it.
I like having discussions, and I often have friendly debates with my friends.
But for once, I would like to see a well thought out, logic based reasoning of why the show is good.
And trending number on 1 on netflix in a paltry 15 countries, 9 of them being asia just isn't a very strong argument
Also scroll lower and see my discussion with Charlotte on how Hospital Playlist is only slightly behind KTEM in the global ratings, yet has lower production cost, less hype, yet double the local ratings. It's even number 1 on Korea Netflix.
A lot of the defenders of the show have pretty weak arguments IMO, so it's not that hard to poke holes.
Honestly, i'm still waiting for the viewer to provide me with some good arguments to help me view the show in a new light, but so far, none has shown up.
she didn't gain any power. she briefly mentioned she joined a palm reading class recently and was just testing…
I'm sorry but NO. Nari is not a intuitive and perceptive character.
Let us look at the facts, prior to the ep 15 scene, this is the second time LR has visited Nari.
And watch the whole exchange in ep 15 starting from 8;40 Mark. All you see on Nari's face is confusion. In fact after LR even admits, "I should have beheaded him" she is still holding his palm.
She had no suspicion until ES tells Nari LR is a bad man.
But yes, I agree she has no power, she's serves the same purpose as yoyo boy, to leave cryptic statements.

I never claimed it was #1. My point being, even with a much lower production budget, with lesser known actor, except for Jo Jung Suk, less production values, less known screenwriter, HP dominate KTEM, lagging slightly in Global Ratings, and smashing Local ratings. It also had no hype, not much marketing for the drama.
Plus it's airing on TVN, which is essentially paid cable, yet it's still getting better ratings, the finale of Hospital Playlist is double of KTEM.
KTEM on the other hand is on FREE TV
Considering all the hindrances Hospital Playlist has, it's still quite competitive globally with KTEM, and dominating KTEM in SK Netflix.
But since we are talking about SK. Hospital playlist rankings for SK from June 1 to June 7 in Netflix
Hospital Playlist June 1 1st June 2 1st June 31st June 4 1st June 5 2nd June 6 1st June 7 2nd
KTEM June 1 2nd June 2 2nd June 3 4th June 4 6th June 5 7th June 6 5th June 7 1st

Ep 14
38:54 Mark
Also, while I was there, another contradictory scene on time freezes. The newspaper he holds, can be manipulated and actually starts falling to the ground before time resumes.

No, LG was very clear when he said, he would need to stay INSIDE the time space world for 4 months. 4 months without the basic necessities like food and water, is pretty much impossible.
I also want to clarify something regarding the viewer data from flixpatrol, which i've seen referenced here a few times.
Based on most recent data.
There are 15 countries where it ranked top 10.
Out of those 15, 9 are Asian countries, and the remaining 6 are Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Nigeria,Dominican Republic, and Bolivia.
Some would have you believe that KTEM is beloved in the ENTIRE world, when this is just not true. It's not trending in US, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Spain, France and etc...
Sure, there are fans of the show worldwide, but ITS NOT trending in MOST countries outside of ASIA. So Kdrama still has limited appeal outside Asia, and KTEM is no exception.
This scene is on my replay list. SWOON!

Like Gangnam Style song, that is a Global Phenomenon, because it spread across the Globe.
But KTEM? not so much. Kdrama still isn't as globally accepted as Kpop.
The story of KTEM just doesn't really appeal to a very broad audience.

it's just basic research, I just google lol

And statistics, and numbers are CHALLENGED all the time in many different aspects of life by many many people.
Just like how GDP numbers are challenged by many different economist on it's validity.
You see "Trashed", I see opening the panel to discussion. If you don't want to discuss, or can't then that's your choice.
But "Trashing" as you say, is going both ways in the comment section.
Unless LG i in reality a Goblin.

I just wanted to clear this up. Thank you!
In Ep 15, TE ask LG
TE: Why are you wearing the same jacket as 4 months ago?
LG: I didn't have money to buy clothes.
ME: So how did you managed to eat/drink water?
Does this mean in the time space zone, basic human functions don't work? Meaning no need to pee or poo or eat or sleep?
Pretty cool place if that's the case.
