I reckon with his looks, and coupled with the inexperience of everybody's 20's.. he would have been exploited…
Beautifully said! <3

Aww, this is just me ranting away on some thoughts I have been having seeing the industry, and observing Seon-Ho, who stands out like this unique unicorn-pony wearing a colorful tutu, in a sea of copy-cats! xD xD
He's really the exception, the oddity who makes it big and gives inspirational Ted-Talks. I appreciate where he comes from, and what it took. I wish him all the best! His journey is really motivational for those who struggle to explore in an ageist society! :')
As for others, I'm sure they admire him too, at least the ones who care to know about him! Not that I see his contemporaries coming out and waxing eloquently about him in public, but I'm sure in privacy & solitude, they admire him, and that's what matters when it comes down to professional rivals! :D Afterall, he's somebody who probably hasn't made as many compromises, is still fulfilling his dreams, and not being a sell-out just to make bank. How many of us commoners would you think has the courage to do this? Much less k-ent industry actors & idols! T_T
Still, I'm glad he's not trying to eat a slice from the same cake as everybody else! :') :')

Also, i think in one's career, you need TWO defining projects. One is the 'breakthrough role', a memorable earlier project that begins to seal your status in the industry, garnering you more appreciation and better, more numerous scripts. The second, of course, is your 'Magnum Opus', a later role that's the epitome of your performance as an actor; no later project can top the brilliance of it. Giving sustained performances between these two milestone projects is tough.
>>There are a category of Hallyu stars, whose breakthrough project is likely going to be their magnum opus. Sad.

>>There is a second category of stars, who have had a stellar breakthrough, critically or box-office wise, who will perhaps never have a magnum opus. Even worse.

>>There is a third category, who have been constantly giving mediocre performances after their breakthrough project, mainly because their agency is screwing up their career trajectory as an actor, by not being selective enough, and wanting quick money. I am worried they will never be offered a 'magnum opus' kind of role, despite showing signs of early potential; because 'serious' directors eventually choose 'serious' actors. Disappointing!

>>There is only a very rare, lucky, fourth category, that will have sustained performances between their breakthroughs & their magnum-opus works. There is always this one kid in every generation who is exceptionally talented, and also lucky to be in this unicorn category. And it involves constantly re-inventing yourself, before you hit the cliff (like somebody else said too!) and not take the easy way out. Takes a LOT of courage, hard-work and humility. Only very few from category 3 can make it here!

In a way, KSH is too experienced & talented in a parallel industry to be in category 1, too old & humble to be in category 2 or 3. His current script-selection does tell me he's experimental enough to be in that elusive category 4, if he plays his cards right. Think how many genres there is for him to explore and make a mark in, instead of being type-casted like the next good-looking boy! In many ways, I see his career-trajectory following Kim Jae Wook's! I think his target right now is (and should be) to have memorable singular projects, each from one genre (his movie script-selection indicates that!), instead of being type-casted or trying to make a quick buck before his rom-com charms fade out due to his quickly approaching age. I think he's aiming for a wildly-diverse portfolio filled with quality works, instead of trying to catch-up to those actors who made it big in their 20's and are going to retire with 100 projects to their names, but less critically acclaimed.
I'm sorry I had to drag in other actors to compare, but I tried to keep it as civil as possible!

Middle of the day I am little annoyed and unable to continue working with the thoughts of seon ho being discovered…
I reckon with his looks, and coupled with the inexperience of everybody's 20's.. he would have been exploited to become a more 'idol'/'traffic' star instead of being known as an actor, had he made it commercially big before his mid 20's or worse, disappeared into oblivion had he got famous in his late 20's.
I get how his doing mainstream/ commercial projects contradicts the statement I made above... but given his theatre experience, you cannot deny his background as an 'actor' first. Think of his contemporaries in 32/34 age-range.. Male-stars who have had tons of potential, but completely forced to take a commercial route instead of honing their talents, by agencies who only thought their looks are what's going to sell. Even today, I'm less than happy with a few male-actors and their career trajectory, esp in Korea, and in their mid-to-late 20's (right before they need to head to military). It's a catch-22 really. But I'm happy Seon-Ho's happy, and he's doing what he wants to, at his own pace, while being offered better scripts & projects each year! :') The glow-up is what we live for, and I'm glad he can hold his own, and not be forced by his agency to do fanservice 24/7. <3 <3 <3
I'm glad the more 'idol' ish scripts are offered to a different 'category' of male-stars who made it big in their 20's. And I'm glad Seon-Ho's not competing for a slice from the same cake. He's made his mark, and he's carved out his own niche in the industry! <3 :* :*

Gong Jun singing Wuhu~ is the cutest thing ever, especially since how much he was enjoying himself 😁
Gong Jun's version of Wuhu is the only version I know (need to/ want to know!) lmaoo! xD it's imprinted in my brain, and now SH's off-tune 'lalalalalalala~' is too! xD

KSH messing up the easiest part of 'Romantic Sunday' in all of the BTS, is making me forget the tune! xD
The last time this happened, and i found it adorable, was when Gong Jun sang Wuhu (word of honor fans, anyone?) :P :P

Everyone said that the writer is seonho's fan since there are lots of scenes related to seonho's previous works…

i feel so bad for producer ji. this truly feels like a case of right person wrong time. although i do think he…
What bets in next episode, we see a flashback scene something like...
Hye-Jin after breaking-up with ex-bf, tells her sunbae: 'nah, i'm not gonna date anymore.... i am done with guys for sometime now. I want to be rich & successful one day, and maybe then i'll date!'
Right before sunbae decides to confess to her! :O :O
Maybe that's why he's always respected her boundaries and never told her!

-Apologies, non PG comment - Some of us think HDS finally accepted his feelings because of Gamri halmeoni’s…
Three epiphanous & 'Eureka' moments of Du-Shik:

1. Hye Jin fixing Il-Jun's tooth: 'i want this woman to be the mother of my children.'
2. Hye Jin fixing her hair: 'i want to wake up to this sight every morning.'
3. Hye Jin in Dushik's clothes: 'dang, has stealing clothes always been so sexy?'

:P :P

Apparently, Hye Jin only dated her college bf for 3 months. After that, They were both in Seoul and he had several…
I think his 'confession' to Hye Jin clearly stated what his deal was like... he was confused till he very end too, wondering is all his feelings for her was due to past nostalgia or not. He probably very likely did not confess RIGHT after he met her once again in Gongjin because of this reason, and also why he did not actively look out for her right after she graduated too. As for why he waited out for so long between her breaking up & graduation... heavens only know (& writers too, because his ill-fate & timing is at their mercy!) :P :P

I need somebody to do the work of god, and dig out those high school pictures. Heck i know celebrities who have got multiple surgeries, but their nose isn't half as pretty. Hasta be god-gifted... no surgeon is that talented! xD xD

How are HJ and DS going the survive the night? They were done for, after the hug at the end of episode 8. Felt…
Well, the third night (post knife-attack) already had Du-Shik sheepishly bring up the topic of three daughters and the youngest being beautiful. I wonder now what more is left! xD
We riot if we don't get dimple babies at the end of ep 16.

1. I LOVE THIS COMMENT SECTION and just how it was a massive prayer circle for a biological crisis yesterday only…
2. DS looked proud because HJ was finally being accepted and cared for, as a family member, by those he considers his family. Just like in ep9, HJ looked proud of DS getting along so well with her family!! <3 <3
