I think his 'confession' to Hye Jin clearly stated what his deal was like... he was confused till he very end too, wondering is all his feelings for her was due to past nostalgia or not. He probably very likely did not confess RIGHT after he met her once again in Gongjin because of this reason, and also why he did not actively look out for her right after she graduated too. As for why he waited out for so long between her breaking up & graduation... heavens only know (& writers too, because his ill-fate & timing is at their mercy!) :P :P
he is very hot, but that must be plastic surgery right. too good to be real!! LOL

uhh, why is his character so soft and fluffy now, like a cuddly domesticated hedgehog? i liked him with his spikes up (ep 1 and beyond) where i could still be critical of him, and not be completely and utterly besotted, and RUINED by him... I wouldn't constantly feel so ATTACKED, wanting to give him the tightest, and warmest of hugs. Du-shik, you broke my heart a couple of times (esp on behalf of my unnie Hye-Jin).... but i more than forgive you, you poor child. okay, just kill me already! T_T
i felt so happy to see all neighbors bringing something for dushik's grandpa ritual 😭😭.
Can we comment on Du-Shik's observing nature and high EQ? He noticed how Hye-Jin felt small at bringing in store-bought goodies for the memorial, and he noticed that, he noticed how inadequate she felt, and he assured her right there by putting her cakes up for offering, saying his Gramps really loved them, and she has good choice in picking food! T_T I lost count how many times i teared up throughout this episode. I think i'm still a little overwhelmed... T_T
