uhh, why is his character so soft and fluffy now, like a cuddly domesticated hedgehog? i liked him with his spikes up (ep 1 and beyond) where i could still be critical of him, and not be completely and utterly besotted, and RUINED by him... I wouldn't constantly feel so ATTACKED, wanting to give him the tightest, and warmest of hugs. Du-shik, you broke my heart a couple of times (esp on behalf of my unnie Hye-Jin).... but i more than forgive you, you poor child. okay, just kill me already! T_T

He noticed how Hye-Jin felt small at bringing in store-bought goodies for the memorial, and he noticed that, he noticed how inadequate she felt, and he assured her right there by putting her cakes up for offering, saying his Gramps really loved them, and she has good choice in picking food! T_T I lost count how many times i teared up throughout this episode. I think i'm still a little overwhelmed... T_T

Esp ep 8, when he's ebbing away into the background, being upstaged everywhere... the camera never loses focus of the tiny corner occupied by KSH and his micro-expressions, which are always fleeting, almost blink-and-you-miss! Ep.7 was amusing to watch, but ep.8 my heart was breaking. It's not as gut-wrenching as Ji-Pyeong... but I'm sure we're getting there eventually till he finally breaks down. And I'm living for that day :D

While making gifs, I realized KSH's a very gif-able actor, because of his micro-expression. Like Kimsamsoom said, it's one of my favorite actor-talents too! Now I have a folder listed with expressions I didn't have a word for, earlier!!! Ahh :')
