I liked how initially the two men admired each other, and thought the other was SOO cool!... but then the PD is trying to upstage our dimpled-handyman like the popular, rich-new-kid arrival at school. Familiar territory, I must say! xD
It was funny how she kept on hitting hong bajang while drooling over june and he kept brushing her off😂😂his…
Hahaha, reminds me of Her Private Life. I wish PMY fangirled as hard as Juri and Hye-Jin together!... Istg, even without the official merch and the posters/ light-sticks... these girls go HARD, when they fangirl!. Bwahaha! xD
I don’t think so because the grandma knew what he was doing. She even said it’s a bribe and you can forget…
Not really, what convinced her along with the lively-dinner, was the fact that the grand-daughter back in America was evasive and non-committal about coming back to the village for her summer vacations. Gam-ri was holding out for her, and not because she wasn't interested in sharing her house. The phone-call made her realize she was avoiding having a genuine family around her, for the real family who had no intentions of ever visiting her... Ji-PD's bribe, almost had nothing to do with it. I think more than those material things, she appreciated little 'chief-hong' like gestures from him, like fixing the lightbulb and washing the dishes for her!! <3 She's a smart cookie, and she values the right things! :D
What this episode showed us, was that Dusik despite always being in everyone else's business, despite being the…
Eh, as a borderline- introvert who forces herself to be the life-of-the-party.... him slinking into the background, and nobody noticing, feels TOO real! Brilliant acting from Seon-Ho, really! You can see all those momentary-dark thoughts flit across his face so beautifully... a blink-and-miss. That familiar feeling of thinking you're no longer wanted, and are replaceable! :'( :'(
I'm convinced our three leads are secretly college freshmen, who ended up in their 35 y/o bodies. I love how the village-fest snowballed into Du-Shik sponsoring their food and alcohol for the night, and how the two ended up crashing at his place. Ah, memories! <3 <3
Ok i've been watching clips/gifsets of scenes from Homecha episodes, and i absolutely cannot get enough of Kim…
Yeahh! Oof, glad somebody said it. For a theatre-actor to have such FAAINEEE micro-expressions is pretty rare. Goes onto show just *how* talented this man is. He has really expressive eyes, and he can convey almost everything using just them, and not moving another single facial muscle. I remember this particular scene in You Drive Me Crazy, it was SO good, I became an instant FAN! <3
I am gonna suffer from very serious withdrawal symptoms after this show ends given that I just keep on re-watching…
Like Seri says, you need an observation/ mourning period of 3 months... then you'll be back at it again! :D Haha, I notice her last name is Yoon too! xD They can be sisters, with their fashion sense, and love for dimpled & dashing, village-men!! ^^
I don't see anything bad about Dusik being "rude" to Hyejin on their first encounter because I think it makes…
I think HJ's acts of kindness stand out even more, because given her prickly nature, you don't really expect her to do what she does, and everybody often is taken aback whenever she comes around and extends a helping hand. Been like that since ep.1. Du-Shik pretty much couldn't believe his eyes that this stranger, city-woman, who went ahead of herself and asked him to go fish her shoe out of the water some 15 mins back, was the SAME woman who crouched in front of the pharmacy and helped fix a stranger kid's tooth. ^^ I think this contrast is very necessary in her character to prevent others from taking to her immediately. But when they see her beyond her snooty ice-queen persona... they realize she's been through a lot, and is nice, deep down! :)
I watch both the episodes only on Sundays, hehe! :)
