*Me thinking about future SikHye kiss scenes* they really zoomed in on his lips sucking the hell out of that ice…
Notice how jittery HJ was around him then... couldn't even bear to look him in the eyes. Hahaha.... I love how clueless these two are! <3

It's Sunday, I'm eating a home-baked chocolate donut and sipping black coffee, and listening to 'Romantic Sunday' on loop. All's right in the world.....
No wonder they said the drama was 'healing'.. it has magic indeed! ^^

I think that the ML has a psychological problem rather than a terminal illness
Writers better not touch a HAIR on Chief Hong's head, or I'll have a very angry word with them T_T

i love how they reflect on their mistakes and sincerely apologize to each other. glad to see their healthy relationship.
Best part, they aren't even interacting as love interests. They're two different people genuinely helping each other grow in the process, and I think that's beautiful! :')

This multi-talented, masculine handyman, busying himself over a dainty-looking silver shoe, crouching over it to dry it with a hair-dryer... is EVERYTHING! <3
Safe to say he's *more* than made up for his ep.1 behavior, hehe! xD

The scene with the granny cursing out the reckless driver was the funniest shit I've ever seen. I was dying laughing!
Country accent made the cussing even funnier xD

I think that the ML has a psychological problem rather than a terminal illness
There was urology, psychiatry and dentistry highlighted... like you said, i don't think it's either the former or the latter!... Has to be a psychiatric issue. He's on meds for his nightmares as well!
But the terminal illness also fits with him doing odd-jobs and only accepting minimum wages. T_T

the drama keeps getting better but the rating is decreasing i wonder why hmmmmm
It's okay, the people who're sticking around, *really* love it... and that's what matters at the end of the day! ^^

Oh lord, their comic-timing is GOLD! xD

Ep 18 got me teary eyed with the heartfelt, touching and wholesome moments just like Crash Landing on You and 18 Again. Just humans interacting & being human to other humans. Gets me every. single. time. :")
Guess what, time to bump this upto 9.5. Make me cry lots, okay... writer-nim!

For anybody who wishes to watch the Bazaar shoot fully, here you are <3
https://youtu.be/PcDLFZFUDyU
and the BTS.... https://youtu.be/Nk3wmnXVut8

I LOVED this drama! A. Good actors often bring out the best in their co-stars, and that was definitely the case here... Steven really made Liang Jie shine! B. I could only imagine LJ have tangible chemistry with Xing Zhao Lin... but I was SO wrong, and glad to be proven so. The CP is sizzling, as the Bazaar shoot is proof enough! :) C. For a fluffy rom-com, the script made a lot of sense. People overheard conversations because of the body-swap and because they were originally never meant to be a part of a certain dialogue within the privacy of two people. And NOT because of some accidental but convenient (contrived) eavesdropping over half-closed doors and badly-designed corridors, leading to misunderstandings... lol! D. The body-swap was played for gags, but it was also milked enough to be a genuine cause of conflict, and I'm happy the writers didn't discard the plot-point after it stopped providing giggles! E. ZXC is extra swoony in this guys.. do check it out!

Thank you Cryssy & Brownie for this lovely article for MDL...TDOBY is definitely my favorite among the entire Love-On series from iQiyi! ^^ This c-drama is so underrated! :')

Title One and Only
On ep11, literally every character has an unrequited/ unfulfilled love. It doesn't look too promising for our leads, going by the look of it. ZSC and CSY are absolutely adorable! <3

The fact that the original Mr. Hong's character sounds too much like a Manic-Pixie Dream Boy, but the 16+ hour format here will lead to fleshing out a character with tons of potential.... might just be another reminder of the genius of KSH's script-selection skills! I reckon he'd have picked Home-cha had it been another movie-remake.. :')

Kouji was the best!! Let us know what you think when you're all done!
Heyyy! I came back to say I binged through the whole thing, and I'm done! I loveeed it!, It was soo wholesome, and gave me all the feels! :3 I came back and got through your whole article (once again), and thank you for contributing this very detailed, and visually pleasing article to MDL. It's really as pretty as the show! <3
The epilogues always got a me a little teary-eyed, and this is the chemical X for me in-terms of dramas, that pushes it to the next level! :) In-fact most of my highest rated dramas ARE because of epilogues (as is the case here; and I sometimes bump up ratings even when the writing isn't as good) :P :P
I feel most k/c drama watchers would also love it, because the story as well as the color-grading feel very 'fresh' and 'modern'. [The list of sponsors was craazy!] One of my favorite aspect of the show was the way they dealt with relationships (platonic and otherwise), felt very grown-up, organic, realistic and nuanced. There was no 'drama' for the sake of drama which made it even more refreshing! I could see such 'maturity' in almost every aspect of story-telling... mainly because the writer/director duo are women, and because it's an original script, and not a manga adaptation!^^
My only qualm would be the amount of mental-gymnastics I had to do to accept our endgame, but other than that, this will be a watch, super-close to my heart, and I would rec' it to everyone!! <3 <3 <3
Thank you once again for spreading your love for this show. It deserves every ounce of it! :')

While it's true that I find Na Bi extremely annoying - and that last scene aggrevated me to no ends, it's not…
I agree with him spotting her sculpture, It was a pretty big reveal from the preview!
About what you said earlier... I remember this r/l counselor's words: 'The reason you attract problematic people is because deep-down, you think that's what you deserve. You set the bar extremely low for your partners, because that's what you believe is your self-worth, and think you can't do better, deserve better.'
That really hit me hard. And this show has been consistently reflective of this since ep.1. Nabi attracts trash, because that's precisely what she thinks she is, and deserves.

Nabi owes nothing to potato boy because he is nice to her. They are not in a committed relationship, her sleeping…
Absolutely, PJE has the seductiveness of a cardboard. You said it! <3
Potato-boy's too good for Nabi because she's messed up in the head. I have a whole thesis on tthat. She'll leave him fucked up too, by projecting her issues onto him and their relationship. But you're right... everybody deserves a shot at love. However, Nabi should really give it a try after she attends therapy. For the sake of her sanity, and everybody else's.

When this started, I was full of opinions about Jae-eon's toxicity, and Na-bi's needs of therapy, and the relationships.…
You're right, the writer chickened out with making JE outright toxic, almost from the fear of not having good ratings from k-netz. Infact, a lil bit of the suspense of 'is he toxic, or is he just damaged... has he really changed, or is it just an act?' is ruined the MOMENT they give us JE's perspective (which the web-comic very intentionally denied us of). Little candid gestures from JE kept the mystery going, like ep3, where he fondly remembers Nabi liking a lime-flavored drink, etc. You really think Nabi probably means something special to him, but his player actions immediately in the next frame contradict that. It was frustrating to watch because we didn't know the answer, but interesting because it kept the character morally grey. His outright monologues paint him as a 'misunderstood sad-boi, with mommy-issues' and I don't exactly like this sense of direction. Infact beyond ep 4, the direction and writing got derailed very disappointingly, and I feel they no longer were able to maintain the 'vibe' of the show T_T

The more I think about Nabi this is my conclusion….she is too emotionally scarred by her mother’s many love…
Nabi's quest to prove she's capable of 'real love', and that she's 'not like her mom' sets her up to walk the very footsteps set up by the universe that'll ultimately make her end up like the ONE person she thinks she's better than. Hah. The irony!
