" it's only ten eps too"eh MDL put 10 if it's not confirmed or has a final ep air dateAlmost certain this will…
Well, that's...hm, I guess I'll maintain my stance for now. See how it goes.

Is the last episode worth it guys? No more excessive family scenes or inconvenient misunderstandings? I don't wanna' waste my time.
On Hidden Agenda Jul 17, 2023
Maybe it's because I don't watch every BL that comes out and I don't know these actors from anything else, but this show seems pleasant to me. So many complaints before I've even scrolled halfway down the first page of comments 😕
Anyway, I like Joke's over all demeanor, he's very chill and I like that he just stares or gives short direct answers when people talk to much (probably because I do the same #relateable). And Zo is fine too, he's got big 'confident-nerd' energy which can provide comedy relief.

The trip/catch and shoe lace tying tropes are laughable, but that's about all I feel could have been skipped here. This show is actually starting off a bit like A Boss and A Babe, a little lame, a little awkward and intentionally funny. I just hope it doesn't start to take itself too seriously like Boss and A Babe did, because that show went downhill so fast.

So far I'm enjoying this, and it's only ten eps too and not too long per ep, if the writers paced things well and didn't try to be to over-over about an excess plot, this could play out well.
Unpopular opinion: the acting is just fine for this type of light hearted comedy.

Well that escalated AND deescalated very quickly. I didn't hate it. It was what it was.
Regarding that rating once again, a quick shout out to 13 year olds in the Philippines, you guys are on another level.

W & W for me.. without them? Nope. Nada. And 50% of their screen time i hoped for them to stay normal, lol.
I was paying so little attention I didn't even remember the names xD Had to check the credits to be sure who's W and W.

If Seonwoo and Yoonghee are really endgame as they say, then I'm really interested to see what Seonwoo's reasoning…
I'm not sure if they are 'end game', but if SW chooses YH in the end I think it's probably not going to be entirely genuine, if at all. Another unfortunate case in this season of leading someone on and choosing them as a secondary option for the wrong reasons. I like YH and SW (individually), and I would have supported them dating, but SW clearly is uncomfortable with the age gap and about the way it'd look for him to date a 21 y/o, so unless he has some major change and actually decides to give YH a real shot (which I doubt) he should just leave that sweet kid alone.

What a FANTASTIC episode. The balance of humor to angst to fluff to sadness and plot is so on point. And someone give Krist a fist bump 👊 man knows how to cry real-like on cue with none of that noisy business and some real ass tears. Nothing cringe about it.

I assume though, considering how many episodes are left, that Kawi's choice to be with Pisaeng isn't going to mean positives on every front, it's going to continue to have a 'butterfly effect' on everyone and it may not go so well. He'll probably need to make some hard choices. Keen though. This show is really rising above the mediocre and try-too-hard drivel that often makes it through in BL's.

Can I get a WAHOO!

PS: post credit scene had me like ' WAHOOoooᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒhhhhhnNNOOOOOOᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒOOOKAAY! YEAH'
Nicely done there writers, for a second I thought things were about to get really unnecessarily messy, but you nailed it. (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ ʷᵉˡˡ ᵈᵒⁿᵉ ♥

I feel like SW was just promoting his business 💀 but that's just me lmaoo
Anything and everything positive you say about SW will be used against you 😂 people have decided he's some sort of villain, like this is a BL show and he's a character with a scripted agenda, not a real person trying to figure his sh*t out.

My husband is 9 years younger than me :) We've been married for 20 years and still going. Age is just a number.SW…
Yeah, the age thing is also just preference and opinion. I have no problem with anyone dating anyone else with an age difference so long as it's all legal, but I would personally avoid it. Same as I would avoid dating someone who didn't aesthetically appeal to me. We all have our preferences and our choices.

At first things were looking nice, people were chill and beg of ep 8 felt fun then they started pick people for…
I avoided commenting on SH and JS too, I didn't want to read anyone crying me a river about their personal feels and overly subjective opinions 😂

I also didn't comment on Hyun Jin , but I agree, he turned out to be a real disappointment. a dick and a gossiper. His over inflated ego is eyeroll inducing, I'm surprised he can fit his head through the doorways. He really thought JW was gonna swoon for him after that.
On His Man Season 2 Jul 14, 2023
YH is a real gem, he's levelheaded and mature and over all very likeable. He does like SW as he's been very honest about, but it's clear now that his age is a problem and I don't blame SW since I wouldn't date someone so much younger than me either. YH will hopefully just enjoy the remainder of his time in the house and go home with good memories and minimal regrets.

SW doesn't really seem to like anyone, not genuinely, he hasn't had a sincere reaction to any person in the house. I think he has some insecurities and he's very guarded about letting anyone properly close. He also knows how to deflect very well. He'd also be better off coasting through to the end and leaving with minimal regrets.

MS really made a great choice changing his date partner, kudos to him him for stepping up and making that choice.

JW has a great falsetto, a beautiful, heathly happy pupper and a genuine, decent personality. I hope he stops needing other peoples validation so much so he can live his best life.

People might shower me with rotten tomatoes but I have only one thing to say that is, If P'Man does any BLs in…
Despite the fact that I overall enjoyed this show, I 100% agree. They should cast Jeng opposite someone else (although the probably won't). I feel the same way about Jaab, if Saint actually goes on to do more BL, I really, REALLY hope they cast him opposite a different actor. The casting of Jen is one of the reasons I didn't care at all about the outcome of Jaab/Jen.
Replying to enigmatic_zephy Jul 13, 2023
yup.. i am saying the same thing.. HOWEVER, JS is not a boring personality.. so as SH keeps getting rejected/…
That's all I was saying, is that JS has been very clearly friendzoned from day one, and then the moment SH felt confused about SW's interest in him, he's suddenly playing up an interest in JS, which is bad form. Leading on JS, who is pretty much head over heels for him, is messy and pretty low.

I tried to go back and try again, but I didn't even manage to pay attention for longer than ten minutes and missed so much of the subs thereafter, I just exited the window. I think it's too empty with no really likable characters (for me at least) so this one goes on the dropped list.

I can’t unsee the Ad Star “Awrad”.
I can't forget that Pat didn't wash his hands before Chot dragged him out of the bathroom.

Title Step by Step
As I expected after watching the final ep and despite all the negative comments, I enjoyed this from start to finish. The final episode was enjoyable. They showed that Pat was still quite immature, which was good because people don't really change that easily, and Chot even called him out on it when he claimed to supposedly have more control over his emotions. And then later when Pat and Jeng talk in the restaurant kitchen (I enjoyed this scene), Pat admits these things and Jeng also admits his fears and shortcomings. It was good to watch a scene like that.

Somethings were a bit rushed, like Pat meeting Jeng's mother, but it wasn't an important scene imo. Same with leaving some ends loose, like Jeng's dad letting him resign too easily, but it didn't feel like it mattered much since Jeng has a whole other job and form of income, and can probably work anywhere else he wants. Personally, I didn't mind that they didn't show anymore Jaab and Jen, that was right up my alley since I was not interested in them as a pair at all.

The only major drawback is the length of the time lapse. Two years was excessive, it honestly should have been like four months or something. I get that the time lapse was meant to show Pat was able to be successful on his own, but it was overkill. They could have achieved the same result with a much shorter lapse, removing the two years of winning awards, they could have made Pat's first major project be Forge and he wins it over Jian Group's team, I think that would have had the same impact. Two years is too much because it's hard to believe Jeng would still be interested after so long, but that's what the writer's think makes a good story, someone being so in love they don't move on even after so long. It's a weak trope. Jeng more realistically would have moved on, possibly even Pat too.

But that was really the only thing I thought was a bad decision in this show. Otherwise, I liked it. I'd watch a sequel, but I dread a continuation of Jaab and Jen, but I'd still watch it.
