I watched this to the end on mute and only half reading the subs, I can't even believe I made it this far since this show turned out to be whole a** joke. If I had to describe the second half of this show in a word, it'd say it's insipid. And yet it started out pretty damn nicely, but wow, what a fail. The only reason I didn't rate it even lower as a total pointless waste of time, was because the first few eps were really enjoyable, which showed that it HAD POTENTIAL, but ultimately it tanked.

I'm surprised anyone even rated it higher than 5, I felt generous giving it a 4.

Ok, all caught up. I guess let's see where they'll take so much drama so late in the series.

Just catching up on this show after putting it off for a while, I'm on ep 7 now and I wanted to say that having watched a lot of 'love scenes' in BL's, from a purely cinematic perspective, the scene between Tai and Phat in this episode is one of the best shoots I've seen.

The show has a generally good shooting style, but most of the time, the 'love scenes' in BL's are the shortfall. However, the pacing and angles were done really well and absolutely compensated the idea of heated sexual chemistry between the two, which felt lacking to me for the most part, and imo, that's some good camera and editing work. Being able to make any scene look and feel more intense than it would otherwise be candidly is what the job is meant to be, and this time, they nailed it. The music laid over it was very well timed and suitable too. Not to get down on the actors though, they're definitely working well with one another.

I don't even particularly like this pairing, I'm watching this show for Thian because I think he really stands out here, while he was wasted in 'You're my Sky', since his character had no personality.
But I thought the quality of shooting in ep 7's Phat/Tai scene deserved a mention. The actors did well, the editing team nailed it, the music team nailed it. Kudos.

PS: ALL the animals are so cuuuuute. I respect vets IRL on a serious level and I love animals 🥺

I think people need to chill quite a bit before regarding this series as a total waste or time, boring plot, etc..…
I think it's not even worth trying to make it make sense to people who don't like it. For example, Tale of a Thousand Suns is very highly rated but I still lament the hours I lost watching that boring travesty and nothing anyone says will change my mind 😂 Step by Step is a great show, with focus on other characters which actually contributes to the ML's character development and it's also not drowning in tropes. I personally haven't had an issue with Pat as a character, but I've read ALL the hate and I just scrolled past it. I think it'll take a few more Thai BL's like this to break through to fans of the usual fair. But people will like what they like, and vice versa.

Haven't watched since ep 2 xddd and don't really want to
I guess I hung on longer xD but yeah, but it was the kind of mess that made me keep coming back to see if it could outdo itself. And the comments suggest it has managed to haha. Maybe I'll save it for a boring day binge. 😂

This show is exhausting. They're really trying with the Ae side story but it's just not interesting. I've been…
Maybe it's just me, but I'm still a supporter of Yihwa and Cho from Bad Romance and Together With Me; The Next Chapter. Yihwa is an undefeated female character in BL series imo. She and Cho were likeable as a couple, and also very complimentary to KornKnock.

Firstly, I think we can ALL agree, that Jeng could have been kissing a mannequin in every kissing scene and it would still have been melt-worthy. That first one...I almost choked on my coffee, didn't blink, my eyes watered. And it only got better. Imo, Man is easily in the hottest top 5 BL kissers I've seen.

Secondly, for the first time I felt like we needed more feeling from Pat after the scene in the restaurant kitchen, he didn't seem affected enough. But as the episode went on, two things became clear, a) Pat's lesser relationship experience and gradually developing maturity makes him come across as less intense and somewhat less involved, b) Pat is not used to PDA, which I think is understandable, even if he never gets used to it. PDA is not for everyone. His 'dear in the headlights' look is pretty funny and IC I guess, after all, not everyone can have trademark bedroom eyes like Tul Pakorn.
I also think we finally saw the status differential come into play toward the end between the ML's, with Pat being stressed about the work situation and rumors and Jeng seeming not all that concerned, after all, out of the two of them Pat has more to lose in face and work rep.

Thirdly, I am so glad they dropped the formalities. I have been endlessly annoyed in BL's where the ML's have a status difference and they continue to use formalities even after they get together. Like in Boss and a Babe. I dropped that show for more than one reason, but the fact that the employee (I don't remember his name) kept calling his partner 'Boss' right up until after they'd been sleeping together, it was just ugh. In this ep, dropping it was done smoothly and intimately and with subtlety.

Additionally;
- Ae is awesome and yeah, she is really attractive.
- I don't care about the Jaab/Jen side story literally at all, but I am glad that Saint is now on the Thai acting map and I hope to see him act elsewhere.
- Pat's father is very extra, if anyone were pointing their finger in my face like that, especially when I hadn't done anything wrong, that finger would be in peril.
- Good for Chot!
- I'm not sure what of what I think should happen about the work situation. I think it makes more sense for Pat to resign than for Jeng, but I guess it is, as Ying said, a delicate situation.

Good ep over all, and they've got plenty of time to wrap up the loose ends in the next two eps while developing the ML's relationship further. Step by step indeed ya'll.

Pisaeng: *trying to mind his own business*
Universe: *drops hella obvious cues* JUUUST BEEEEE GAAAAAY
Pisaeng: ミ ᕕ(ᐛ) ᕗ OK!

LATER:

Kawi: If you were gay, that'd be okay. I mean cause, hey! I'd like you anyway! Because you see, if it were me, I would feel free to say that I was gay!
Pisaeng: I like you.
Kawi: But I'm not gay.
Pisaeng: (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ )♡ OK

Universe: (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

P.S: I ꒒ ০ ⌵ ୧ this show, it's damn good so far. Not a bad episode yet.

This episode is a great example of how people should not make hasty decisions. It's usually depicted as the ML's getting together hastily the second confessions drop, but Pat was clearly reeling in the last episode after finding out Jeng is into guys, and this episode we saw him facing that confusion which compounded all the other sh*t he has going on. Avoidance seemed like a pretty standard reaction for a character of his personality.

We also got a few different perspectives on the values of various relationships between the characters, and we also saw more of Jeng's feelings. Personally, I think we saw a new side to his vulnerability as well as his own avoidance (by resigning) but also his maturity in dealing with the aftermath of being 'rejected'. He's feeling it, sure, but he's calm and not acting like a petty a-hole.

Not much on Jaab in this, but Jen appeared to leave which for me; YAY.
The highlight for me was Jaab's 'wtf am I seeing' expression when the baby was born (and the fact that they focused on that scene long enough for me to appreciate it) was great.

Delayed to watch this again and honestly, not really sure wtf is going on in this show. Although, at this point I feel like Time, Praem and Dena are all kinda sus. Like, they might be third party supernatural sorts maybe? Well meaning guiding or throwing spanners in the works or summat.
Also, I saw right that Patis (Pathith?) has a 💩 emoji next to Thana's name? 🤨

Another great episode and the pacing is really done well, everything feels like it's building at a good speed. And I have to wonder what is to come, because there are 12 eps and we're only at 4, a lot can go right in that time, but a lot can also go wrong. But with 4 good eps in a row, I'm betting on the former.
