Review Born to Fly
I feel like unfortunately, unless it's a romcom or fictional period drama, any movie/show he acts in will probably be in that vein of typical 'patriotism'. So far a lot of what WY has done; Faith Makes Great, Being a Hero, Hidden Blade and now Born to Fly, all have a similar vibe. I was actually disappointed in Hidden Blade when he didn't turn out to be a traitor because he played the bad guy so well. It was so predictable in the end, haha ¯\_(ツ) I'm guessing Formed Police Unit will be the same, BUT I'm hoping the typical theme will be less in One and Only, maybe a lot less due to the content.

I guess (Western) fans just have to accept that the 'big' films he'll be in, will be that way.
Me, personally, if the genre of it is in line with my tastes, I'll watch it objectively. Although I'm over here hoping he'll improve his English and try to do something international.
Anyway, helpful review (✌゚∀゚)☞

This episode was FANTASTIC. I loved the ending especially, that moment Pat realized how he'd been acting like an oblivious, silly fool and crying about his ex to his hot 'straight' boss, who he just thought he was bro-ing around with and who was being super supportive of his drama, all no homo and sh*t, and then BAM, he finds out Jeng is gay and his face really said "WAIT WHAT? NOOOOOOOOO -echoing into the abyss-"

It actually shines a light on why he's been avoiding catching feelings for Jeng, and it was also unexpected that that was how it was gonna' go down. This episode tricked us a few times regarding Jeng dropping his confession, yo.

Other highlights in this ep include Ae being an OG, ready to throw down and stand up for herself and her friends. Jaab, well, just in general is a highlight. And getting to see more of Jeng being less formal at work and just being a dork. Kudos. Keep it coming.

Awaiting ep 9 for real.

What is ViAn?
I think my issue is I don't have any feeling about Patith's character because the actor's emotional acting range seems stunted, so even though Thana is being a d*ck to him, I feel like 'meh' about it. And then there's the high school pair, which just in general I don't have an interest in. The high school characters never appeal to me. At his point, I wanna' see what the fallout will be from this magic stuff, and also whether the individual character drama is going to collide.

Why does Gun keep getting work? It baffles me. Won't watch this or Golden child due to him being a lead. At least…
Oh so it's a thing? I haven't seen him before this show xD

What is ViAn?
😆 Yeeaah, haha, but I willfully overlooked it because I like the show and the ML's. Also, so far she's not actually that bad. An is actually being more difficult than she is but in a funny way. I feel like it's sort of a sitcom, if it had a laugh track it might even suit the flow and vibe. It's holding my interest more than Luminous Solutions rn 😵
On The Luminous Solution Jun 12, 2023
The actor who plays Patis (Patith?) ability , or lack thereof, to emote clearly is a little difficult to relate to. Thana is all over the place, a whole ass mess, but I feel like I can't really feel Patith's feels about it because his happy, angry and sad expressions are interchangeable.

Also, kinda waiting to see the point of this wish business and how it's going to tie all the mains together? Or have a ripple effect? Is it a 'Crash' scenario, in terms of how their separate social and personals problems and issues interweave or are the different peoples problems not going to impact one another? Are they just burying the lead really, really well?
Questions, questions.

PS: Crash (2004) is a great movie, but just in case anyone is curious and wants to go looking, don't waste your time. The content of Crash is TOTALLY unrelated and different, I only mention it because of the character's lives possibly colliding in LS.

If you only watch BL, I get why you didn't know Krist
I don't only watch BL and I didn't know Krist. Huh. Imagine that.
The progression of this show thus far:

Will it be revived? Will it be interesting again? Should I return?

As someone who didn't like either of these ML's in previous shows (honestly I had no idea who the actor of Kawi even was), and went into this not sure what to expect, I am actually liking both of them and their acting and the unfolding plot is great so far. This show is hitting just right.

This show is really interesting and entertaining so far. I like the one step forward, two steps back thing Kawi is experiencing while messing with time travel, and I also like how they're depicting his slowly developing attraction to Pisaeng, and that it only started AFTER the kiss triggered him.
Slow and steady wins the race imo, let the story play out and the characters build up to something more organically!
The acting is also pretty smooth all around.
So far so good.

Well, the premise is a bit silly, and it's a really simple story, nothing major, but aesthetically it's great. Cute and funny. Oddly enough, filmed in portrait. I'd say try the first ep, it's a light watch.
I've only watched one or two from Vietnam and Philippines BL's before, but this is the first one I like. They're not much different, mostly modern based with some touches of culture, like most Asian BL's

This is a sweet little winner of a show. Nicely done. The fluff and sweetness are abound but very suitable, not overwhelming. I think the acting in particular is great in this, its very manga-esque unsurprisingly, but still good in a live adaptation. Tane really sells his role, I don't like kids in shows usually, but he impressed me with how natural he was in his scenes, even his speech didn't seem stilted in anyway like kids often do when acting, he just flowed, like being on set and acting is gonna' be his forever shtick and he won't be stopped.

As for the ML's, they have sweet, subtle chemistry, and they do a lot with eye contact and minor closeness between them in scenes, which is a great for shows like this that keep things sweet and light. They wrapped it up good. I'd watch a S02.

Whoever is coming to comments to check other's opinion and watch the show based on them... please don't do that..…
Hm. You seem to want throw shade at people's preferences for what they like to see in a show, and that says more about you than it does about anyone else.
But regardless, the general consensus for this show is that despite good casting and acting, it delivered nothing and the story was disjointed with events that don't line up or add any value or make a point. It did come across realistic in the sense where Yoo Jae is not gay, but is unhealthily co-dependent to the point where he was willing to 'date' his male friend because he can't be without him and has platonic possessiveness issues.

This show failed to come through in the end. Chinese censored BL's and even bromances like The Devil Judge, D.P and The Guest bring more ML chemistry and interaction than this and are more satisfying. No physical touching required.

So your words, to others who don't share your opinion, are in fact wrong.

I wanna see more of Jaab and Jane. I don't get why he told Jane that they just wanna be friends from now on!!…
I must be the minority in my opinion, but I don't like this ship. I think Jane seems like a flirty flake. He flirted both physically and verbally with Jaab often, then he did what he did, kissing Jaab and going on to leave him hanging, saying nothing for daaaaaaayz. Then randomly after breaking up with his boyfriend for whatever reason he tried to drop his sob story on Jaab. Boo hoo we broke up, I can pay attention to you again.

Naw, not for me. They'll probably end up together, but I ain't a fan of it.
