AGAJS i didnβt wanna say anything and maybe itβs bcs im a girl kisser so my standards are like too high or…
LOOOL I couldn't NOT mention it, he was so underwhelming when he showed upπ and even if you are into girls I'm sure you can objectively say if a guy looks attractive or not. For me, I was like 'nah, what?' when I saw him. I prefer short hair too, like Tseng Jinghua for example, but this guy just, nah. Dude-bro vibe is too much.
Wang Shuo is suitably obnoxious, I don't think he's supposed to be likable??? I think he's definitely the kind of shady bitchy type people would want to punch in the face, well acted. I certainly find him punchable.
I'll admit I was very confused about the WS's brother, I didn't find WS attractive (according to my personal taste, as I've said before), but his brother baffled me even more because I find him even less attractive, like, by miles. And it's weird because I usually like short hair, prefer it even, but the guy looks kind of generically dude-bro esque. I dunno if any westerners will know what I mean by that. lol Irl, I'll be honest, I'm not noticing bro in the street. LOL but okay, so I guess he's supposed to be hot. Good for whoever enjoys the visual.
I got my 2 minute some odd fix of Chengyu and Xiaoshuai and it was EXCELLENT. I do think they toned some of Chengyu's sharper edges of his character in the novel down a bit too much, I would like to have seen more of his darker aggressive side as well, but I think they wanted him to be the bright relationships green flag to Chi Cheng's red flag behaviour. He's current character is still enjoyable though, and I'm hoping as he get's the green light from XS to take things further, he'll be more, um, hands on >:3 I definitely liked the way they made him immediately turn to XS and respond to that cheek kiss, I also like how he started clearly telling XS things directly right after they took the first step to being 'official'. The stammering and hesitation to speak his thoughts disappeared. That appealed to my personal 'top' preferences, it ain't for everyone, I know.
AAAAAAND I enjoyed the angst HELLA. I like it when it hurts, it is what it is, I don't pretend, they can hurt me more, my body is ready. I don't like everything to be beautiful and shiny all the time, that's lazy writing and plays out in a gagworthy way 9 times out of 10, so this shit is RIGHT up my alley.
I'M READY FOR EP 16, gimmegimmegimmegimmegimme >:D
PS: I don't think there are any spoilers but let me know and I'll box the comment!
PS: This episode, for whatever reason, TXN's face card was outstanding, I think he looked extra good in this episode somehow.

I don't sugar coat that shit. No one should ship real people PERIOD. That's some weird ass, crazy ick behaviour and people who do it have mental problems. I DO judge people who ship real people, always have. Sorry not sorry, I said what I said. It's mentally unhealthy and disturbing, those are real people with real lives, not fictional characters, people need to stay the fuck out of the actors' business and leave their personal lives alone. There are some things I don't think it's necessary to be nice about, RP shipping is one of them. Fan cross a line with that shit.
No high budget, no Promotions or fan service just good actors and good script . I hope other productions companies…
Fanservice is NEXT LEVEL cringe. I occasionally watch clips because once you watch BL the algorithm of social media puts it in the feed constantly and each time I click on it, I lowkey regret it because it's never not awkward to watch lol
I think there will always be those who like Thai BLs specifically because of the 'permanent' pairing thing (i.e:…
It's because they do proper character relationship and story development, not just the rote. The don't just follow some pre-define 'BL recipe' of steps that really don't work for most people lol
I've listened to it, not bad not bad, it could work! I'm currently working on another CY/XS edit, but I'm gonna line this one up and see what happens :D
Like two days ago I asked for song reccs for edits and I ended up choosing Fire on Fire by Sam Smith, recc'd by the user Froehlein for a CC/SW edit. It just felt right in the moment so I went with it. It's my 4th RL edit so far, another short one, if you like edits you can check it out here https://youtu.be/5dJlC5jOmXM
Thanks for all who sent reccs :D I enjoy finding new songs!
Perfect cast π Damn, the acting is just brilliant not only from our four main characters, even the side characters. It's…
We Best Love was a BL I had to watch twice to properly appreciate it, about a year apart too. I'd say the script was flawed, not over all bad, and it's still Taiwan's best to date imo.
I mean it was very strongly indicated even before they got together that CC had a kink like that ( maybe my judgment…
I'll be totally real, I didn't think the tone of my message was offensive(?) and I didn't intend it to be either, I was in conversational mode when I was typing, like, really chill about it, but if you took it that way Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

Just a personal note, it sounds like you're confusing your (concerned?) feelings about the actor with the character. Or perhaps you have a personal discomfort with a younger person acting with an older person? Either way, it comes across a bit like you're projecting. I think it's best to keep in mind that Ziyu is/was an adult when he signed on for the project, he read the script and acted the scenes and he approved the bts to be released after the fact. In the latest bts, to me, he at most looked confused and embarrassed about the kink accessories, maybe because he doesn't know much about the topic.
As for the BDSM element in the show, they've toned it down drastically, they toned down a lot of the darker physical CC characteristics actually, so what's being presented in the show is very well revised and presented in a more positive and pleasant light. When it comes to BDSM, as long as both/all parties are consenting, it's all good. And Chi Cheng's proclivity for rough sex was made known to Suowei in previous episodes, before they slept together, so the character of SW is also consenting to CC's particular sexual tastes.
If the show were actually focused on sex, then one could expect them to put more time and effort on detailing things like kink discussion/negotiation/safewords etc, BUT the show is not about that, it's just one facet of CC's character they're touching on to keep in line with the novel, so when it comes to those things, let imagination take the wheel that they're talking about and working things out with each other in the time that passes in the show when we don't see them, just as we've seen SW becoming more relaxed in his first gay relationship during time lapses.
I say all this and I am not even interested in BDSM in fiction or real life, but it doesn't bother me in the show and I think the pacing and the small nods to that part of CC and SW's sex life have been well done.
I also watch it several hours after it airs due to the time zone difference and being at work, I know the struggle ππ

Just saying.
