From a gaming perspective: The drama adapted a video game formula (whereas in the original novel, there is no game, it's a real alternative world). I'm not sure if you play video games, but for non-game players, it may not be familiar so I'll try and explain.
So, because of the game theme of the show, the doors are based on something similar to RPG 'outcome' game theory. This is a basic explanation from wiki: [In game theory, the outcome of a game is the ultimate result of a strategic interaction with one or more people, dependent on the choices made by all participants in a certain exchange. It represents the final payoff resulting from a set of actions that individuals can take within the context of the game. Outcomes are pivotal in determining the payoffs and expected utility for parties involved.
Each player’s strategy is based on their expectation of what the other players are likely to do, often explained in terms of probability. Outcomes are dependent on the combination of strategies chosen by involved players and can be represented in a number of ways; one common way is a payoff matrix showing the individual payoffs for each players with a combination of strategies.]
So basically, the actions of every person playing can change the events in the doors, so every/any door each person goes into (between one and twelve) will be at a different level (according to their own level in the game) and the events that take place will differ. Every time Lanzhu goes into a door, things may be different or more difficult because of the game's 4 levels of difficulty and also what other players do or don't do.
There's more to it, which also makes the doors (as a video game make sense), but for non game-players, it might be confusing. Hope this helps.

They're highschoolers, college is probably the name of the secondary school since they seem to have normal classes but also specialized courses. As for the disclaimers, those are because minors are not legally supposed to drink/smoke etc, but many do irl normally so the disclaimer is like a bandaid for sensitive viewers.
It's was cute and funny. Skipped A LOT of extras scenes and there was way too much unrealistic gay, but the core of the story was nice. Could have been 8 eps long without all the excess though. I like Phun and Noh as a pair, nice ending too. It was also well acted too, many of these kids are acting Better than the older BL actors. Over all fun watch to pass the time. 8/10
Solid start, solid middle, solid end. Good story. As a a supporter of euthanasia, I felt it for Kan and understood his motivation, I also support his actions and in getting consent from each patient, since it was the best he could do. The acting was also on point from every one in the cast. The story here was also well balanced with the romance aspect, it didn't overshadow the plot. 9.5/10

I think it was actually realistic. He was shocked by finding out about her the first time, but after Zixiang and him sorted it all out, it'd be stupid for him to still let her make him insecure. Or at least, I would have ignored her in his situation, so it made sense to me.

Agree, it shouldn't end with anyone together, I think it should end with Fadel and Bison leaving, either going on the run from the police or choosing to leave like the did from their previous place they lived. I do think Fadel could probably forgive Style once he knows the full story, but I think he would realistically leave with his brother. As for Bison, I cannot see a reason for him to forgive Kant.

Aside from Dunk even, the whole thing feels waaaaaay too ooc for how Joong's character was initially being portrayed, and it's too difficult now to believe/hope he's still running a game on Dunk. It's too rushed imo. They have quite a few episodes to pace things out but they rushed Fadel/Style.
