I am so sick of her,so done with her 🫠I never met a person like her in this page 🙄
Just my advice, the best thing anyone can do when commenters like that come around seeking attention (because they are only commenting in an inciting way with the expectation and hope of bothering people), is to flat out ignore them. Nothing they say actually has any impact on the show or on viewers. Just keep scrolling past them. As the saying goes: don't feed the trolls.
I wonder if it's intact from the original 4 episodes or if they edited things down.
It's airing in Gaga and apparently not available in China, so I really hope not. At this point, for a Cn BL, even if we get an outright acknowledgment of a same sex attraction or relationship, it's beating the censors.
Okay, firstly, any rando stranger tries to kiss me on the cheek, they're gonna' have a bad time.
And then, real question, do Thai people not swim wearing bathing suits? Noh's reaction to Yuri taking off the top she was wearing over her one piece suit (while still wearing shorts) was kind of baffling. Like, you're at the beach my man, if she'd actually gone swimming, was she gonna' do it full kit? I mean, even if she kept the shorts on, surely the top would have to come off to go swimming? Or nah?
Another good ep though. I will admit, I skip all the extra students stories outside of Noh, Phun, Aim, Lee and Yuri scenes, luckily, the show tends to make it easy to skip, the scenes don't overlap all that much so nothing major is being missed. The singing I also skipped (but I almost always do this in BLs). Not a fan of Earn, bro is NOT reading the situation clearly at all.
The choosing of the hotel room was the highlight scene of this episode, it was quite funny how Noh was looking between Yuri, Aim and Phun while deciding who to share a room with. 😂 Phun's face was dead ass saying 'Weeeelllll???'
It was a good watch, a 'BL' that seemlessly blends into an LGBTQ+ show, which hasn't been done with a BL until this drama, and quite well done too, and delivers an entertaining and winding tale depicting the ML's highs and lows and in between's of 'love', the instances of which he's fucking up quite spectacularly. I appreciated that some scenes gave me a throw back to QAF, with how some issues were portrayed, some of the dialogue and the dynamics of the friend group too. Some scenes were a bit extra and the flow glitched a little, but the acting is great, no complaints on that front whatsoever, and directing and production all check out as aces.
Two drawbacks for me, first was the less than clear timeline of events at some stages, and second, I didn't like a single one of the ML's lovers, not one. Heh. The ML himself is a mess though, so nobody's getting any prizes here 😂 Over all, it was quite worth the hype and is definitely worth a watch! 8.5/10 from me.
I like that Jack and Joke's relationship has been going through different hardships and how each struggle and obstacle is actually making them closer. The moment in the hospital was great, I enjoyed the scene (could have done without the music ruining the end bit but) it was a direct verbal acknowledge of a closer relationship between them and this is not usually something Thai BLs do well, relationship development is almost never properly explored and depicted. Establishing closeness without sex is more impactful, even though it takes more time, it holds more weight (imo).
Jack's choices haven't been so smart (I mean, forealz this dude doesn't think before he leaps at all) and Joke is going through the motions of trying to be a not-criminal and he's not loving it. I laughed when he looked at the movers job like 'Really, this is what it's like to earn honest money?' I thought of that scene in Breaking Bad where Jesse is AGHAST because Walt suggested they pay taxes with their illegal drug money. It feels like he's thinking; 'Life as a criminal used to be fun! Damnit!' I do think Joke is going to relapse, and just as he accepted Jack as a 'crime lord', acceptance should go both ways. Or at least that's what I'd like to see them do. After all, not everything has to be unicorns and rainbows and everyone's a good guy, that shit gets boring fast.
I actually don't mind Rose, even though she doesn't seem to understand that taking ice creams out of the ice box and then making the children draw pictures BEFORE eating them isn't very smort. She's a bit dilly, but thus far, not so bad. I mean, she thought the buffalo was a dog guys, and she took that L and laughed about it. That's pretty funny.
The rich people in this are very villain-extra in their behavior, and the next ep looks like they're amping it up, which I'm down for. Once again, the show isn't taking itself too seriously, they're mixing it up and it's fun, it's working for them.

It was nice. That is all. A nice BL. Nothing mind blowing but enjoyable throughout. Easy come, easy go. Very nice OST. 8/10 according to my own rating system.
I'm really glad for the success of this BL because the director of "your name engraved herein" deserves nothing…
Ah, the first person I've seen here who, like me, did not like the actors. And I actually agree with you too, I recently discovered that Go For It, Boys! (Jia You Ba Shao Nian) aired while this was airing and I had no idea, or I would have been watching that instead because while it's a censored Cn BL, the setting is also high school and it's much more interesting, enjoyable, has better pacing and more dynamics going on. TOO was an okay watch, mostly standing out because of the good acting, but it's not up to the standard of the hype it's gotten. I probably would watch a S02 though, if there is one, just because it's same guy who did YNEH and I wanna' see how he pulls it off.
Someone to suggest a Bl where the ml is actually a bad person or pure evil, i have never seen a BL that has evil…
I agree with Robin, DFF held its guns and didn't sap up anything, those mofos were all fucked up from start to finish. I enjoyed DFF for that reason and the plot, the BL didn't even matter to me. In this, I am hoping to see Hope continue to be the fun sociopath he is, I hope they don't try to make him 'a good person', he's clearly effed up, albeit, in an entertaining way. We do need more unapologetic bad guy MLs in BLs for real.
Compared to ep1, I struggled through ep 2 to stay interested, although seeing the comments, I think I'm the only one who found it boring probably. 😂 Will still be watching 3 to see what else they can come up with.
This episode had MANY highlights. Like Granny being a total laugh riot with that absolute gremlin smile she gets when she's thinking Jack and Joke are a couple 😂 And Tattoo's facial expression about almost everything, as well as his spot on delivery of the line 'I don't believe you.' when Jack said, 'I'm actually smart.' It was so good 😂😂 And Joker saying 'I do a lot of things.' after the guy in the bank (I forgot his name) asked wasn't Joke an electrician, like being someone's cousin is just something you can also do as a pass time or occupation 😂😂😂 Arun is also just such a hilarious mess 😂 And Hope continuing to make jokes even after having the shit kicked out of him, very on brand for a sociopath 😂😂😂 I like his personality.
I was a little thrown by the sudden almost flirtatious closeness of the at home 'school scene', because it felt like it came out of nowhere, maybe too soon? Or maybe it felt like Joke would be the one to be bolder first out of the two of them. But either way, it was still a good scene. Good feels.

Hm. I like Hope, he should stay crazy.

(On Gaga so I hope not censored, I wanna' see Chinese BLs slay like we know they can!)
