I totally get you! I love the anti-heroes and the gray characters. Sometimes too much of a green flag can make the character pretty flat!

What happen to all the Liangya guards? Security is seriously lax at the Lord’s place…

lol now that you mention it, there are common characteristics for the male leads and most of the female leads

Then I’m terrible too because I was actually glad that he really did it and it wasn’t his imagination.

For historical dramas, I actually don’t have that many but the memorable couples for me are the ones in Blossom, The Double, The Long Ballad, Starry Love, Love Between Devil and Fairy and A Dream of Splendor. Of course there are many others that have excellent chemistry but these are the ones that immediately came to mind.

I hope the characters stay consistent to the end. They are one of my top favorite couples 🥰
