I love that the story went that direction...On the surface, Su Ye's calmness and confidence are masking a lot of pain...Xi Fan and her family are perfect to fill that void
Ep 14 actually made me feel better because of two things:
- showcasing what an amazing green flag Su Ye is, being sensitive to Xi Fan and trying slowly again to match her pace. If I am ever short-sighted enough to reject someone like that, please let him be patiently persistent and not give up, just like our Dr. He.
- even though it is not the best writing, I like that our couple has a chance to reset, and it is now Xi Fan's turn to provide some healing to Su Ye. That video call was precious and I teared up, just like Su Ye did.
Watching Su Ye’s pain, he’s suffering from everything - love, family, work… 😭😭😭 He’s right, Xi Fan was a bit heartless…but at the same time, she was traumatized. Fortunately he now knows. I still wish she was honest about her feelings for him instead of pulling the misunderstanding stunt.
Surprisingly, Xiang Ya and Ke Xin were useful in episode 13. Since we have a FL who is a little juvenile or to give her the benefit of the doubt, inexperienced, and cannot communicate, it’s good that we have characters who don’t mind being nosy and sharing details.
It was so lovely to see Yi Fan practice more with Samg Yan…seriously how did someone who’s never dated before become so smooth. But I was doubly happy to see Qiao Qiao finding her own happiness. Thank goodness Xiang Lang didn’t pop up!
Pretty good start…I like seeing the ML having the last word but the FL getting back at him in her own way. The humor is a little mean but I think it will get better. KTO looks so good as So Baek Ho in his suits 😍
