I was like, hello?? Are we even watching the same FL? When was she even soft towards her ex? She was professional at first because he was after all an important guest. But when they were away from the prying eyes, she immediately lashed out at him.

Why shouldn't Xi Fan cry after her encounter with her ex? He brought back painful memories, and even gave her such a lame-assed excuse why he was behaving so badly. Instead of making her feel better, it made her feel worse that she was with this jerk for so long.

To me, she was crying about the bad experience and not because she was still pining for him.

That's perfectly normal.
