Shes a well-written character for me. She acknowledges her feelings and we hear/see her emotional reactions in a relatable way but she is thoughtful, rational and incredibly cool. Like you, I like her candidness a lot!

I think he’s already in love but he does not it fully yet. After all he’s never loved before. It’s only after he experience the real loss of her will he understand how much he truly loves her

Something about this show just makes the scenes between XZ and SL incredibly romantic. The music, the dialogue, the chemistry between the leads…just chef’s kiss!

Xing Zhi ah Xing Zhi, rejecting and confessing at the same time…Shen Li ah Shen Li…trying to keep her distance yet couldn’t stay away…

These two are just too entertaining

I really like all the background sound effects - really adds to the scenes!

These past few episodes got me so worried for WRL that I appreciate the comic relief the show provided with the scenes of WRL and his cell mates ;D

Wow, to think I actually LQS might be one of the "heroes" of the show and even shipped him a little with JZ...I was so wrong....
He is still a fascinating character though and ZTY plays him perfectly!

There were many scenes that I liked in this show, but the way XZ saved SL and his borderline confession in ep 16 and the Lantern Festival in ep 17 are my favorites so far. The music is used perfectly and the dialogue is so simple yet effective.

Also, the way the show revealed Qing Ye's true love....ah so heartbreaking...

I got the impression that he is sort of aware but is in denial since he cannot act on his feelings

Ep 14 and 15 were great. I love the scene where they were sitting together by the river... the way the colors of their outfits coordinate against the tranquil green...but every word of Shen Li's seemed to be a stab at Xing Zhi's heart...haha...

Smart girl! She figured it all out about Xing Yun and Xing Zhi but was so rational and practical about it. So refreshing to have a FL not act like a love-obsessed twit.

Then ep 15 where XZ cannot help but still be flirty and them holding hands??? So much for cutting ties 😁

I cannot believe I missed this when it started airing. Just got done with ep 2.

Jeremy Tsui - perfect as Hei Long!

The effects are great and there are some excellent actors in the case. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes!

Ahaha, XZ managed to sneak in a dip and a kabedon move. Love the chemistry between him and SL! The generals' reaction was hilarious!
