They were ok...since I watched the previews, these two episodes felt more like fillers - setting up for the next eventful scenes...

I finally caught up - so annoyed that the noble idiocy trope was used but hopefully that won't be for long. I saw in the preview for ep 21 or 22 that he is going to commit to her 😍

There are definitely love triangles between FL, SML and ML, and also SFL interested in ML who was only interested in FL.
To me, the love triangles are not heavy, annoying at times but nothing really so frustrating.

Her response was “Not yet but she does worry that one day she will fall for him”. So I was wondering if he doesn’t believe her because he knows that she has fallen for him.

When Lord Ding called her little liar after she left, did he mean that he didn’t believe her that she might fall for him or it meant that he knew that she has started liking him?

I can only watch after work but couldn’t resist tuning into the first few scenes since I really wanted to know MZH’s response…

Actually Shining Just For You wasn’t a bad script. It was just so badly edited. I enjoyed watching him and Peng Xiao Ran. Too bad the show was a mess in the end.

I like his character best in Ming Lan and the way he “trapped” Ming Lan into marriage LOL. Luckily she liked him back.

So far as Lord Ding, he’s quite charismatic and I like his subtle expressions and gestures. Only complaint is that the makeup is so thick for everyone.

Those who read the novel, is the drama following the plot or is it quite different?

Woah, this drama never lets you relax. One case closed which was well done, by the way in eps 15 and 16, another plot twist pops up. Wonder how the show will wrap up in the end. Just 4 more episodes.
