Yeah, I know...I agree that RSB will understand that LJL had to do what he had to do. It doesn't stop the hurt and anger but maybe it would help soothe things over between them faster.

After rewatching Episode 36 (and several other episodes), I’m finally letting this feel-good gem go. It’s officially filed under comfort rewatches for when I am in the mood to watch beautiful people build beautiful relationships that actually feel genuine, grounded and enduring.

Some of the family drama and college-friend angst felt a bit like filler—but I won’t complain since I did get the satisfaction seeing them getting their karma.

That makes a lot of sense, and I hope that's how it will go down. She's one of the divisive ones powerful enough to destroy the Rong family's harmonious culture and traditions. RSB needs to replace her in order to bring the sisters back together again.

I love that the villains are basically tripping over their own egos and incompetence. Our amazing leads and the people by their sides just keep doing the right thing—no scheming, no mud-wrestling, no moral downgrade required. Karma’s doing all the heavy lifting.

I think you could be right. I had the thought that she was the one ultimately asking that Steward Chen to spy on the whole Yang business, and finding out where RSB hid them.

I swear I felt more gratification than XiGuang herself when she finally unloaded all that pent-up resentment and grievances. And honestly? Her father is extremely lucky he got to play the “I’m sick” card—because otherwise, how is a single text message supposed to cover years of emotional debt?

Yes exactly...the others are just typical villains with their own interests. She is the insidious one for no reason but to spread misery in the name of the family reputation.
