Ah, LJL is catching onto RSB - she seems to be masterminding another scheme at the end of ep 26. Honestly, the previews are stressing me out, esp ep 28...is RSB going to have so little faith in LJL???
Oh wow, I just can't with RSB. She is still the ultimate mastermind. Thankfully LJL is just one step behind her during those times, and somehow keeps pace without missing a beat. These two are dangerously good together.
What's heartwarming is seeing 3 sisters and a cousin now bonding together. However, I am losing hope each episode that Yunshu will end up being good...she really is heartless and selfish...
Now starting with ep 26...so curious to know who Mr. Bai is...
Yeah- it's truly reading "between the lines" because even though in the game, they talk about the characters and the story being played out, it is all relevant to what's happening to them IRL.
I donât buy any of the soâcalled hints people keep trying to find about the grandma. Seriously, some viewers…
I am with you..,the only redemption is to send the grandmother far away even without Madam Yan who seems to appreciate RSB more than her.
Eventually Yunshu probably be an ally - I think the hate and resentment towards the grandmother would unite the sisters. Ultimately they are smart and know who is the best choice for the head position. Plus RSB has been trying to get the sisters more involved and it is the grandmother that was the divisive factor. I have a feeling that the 3rd sister might be relegated to the side though since she clearly has offended all sides in a way by constantly changing loyalty.
I agree! We need more of the leads together - the beginning part of the show spoiled us and now we want to see LJL being all coy and flirty with RSB, like the consort he was.
Two of my favorite scenes from todayâs episodes:
2) Hu Xiu getting her revenge the right wayâclean, decisive, and with absolutely no wiggle room for the ex or his mother to squirm out of it. Very satisfying.
2) XZY fully leaning into the âoverbearing CEOâ energy. Poor guyâevery single time he was about to explain himself, cue the perfectly timed interruption.
Also really like her best friend. And thank goodness we were spared the cheating-husband trope.
Honestly, itâs hard to tell whoâs scheming with whom anymore.
There are hints that the grandmother might be working with RSB, but given how consistently what an egomaniac she is and how cruel and self-absorbed sheâs been, Iâm not buying it. Yunshu (the fifth sister) also looks like a possible ally to RSB, yet her interactions with Mr. Bai seem to contradict that idea.
The most likely scenario is that LJL and RSB are in this latest act togetherâbut his worry and scolding felt so genuine. That said, I still laugh every time I think about that one line of hers that completely rendered him speechless.
One thing we do know for sure: the annoying fourth sister is deep into her redemption arc, and watching her genuinely support the First Branch is great.
"Aren't you here for me, my Lord?" - Just one line from RSB is enough to diffuse his anger and render him speechless đ
Seriously though, ep 24 was so frustrating...I just wanted to get it over with so that we can move on to the next ones. Ep 25-26 seem to have more scheming and good people turning out to be bad???
