You could be right...I am already suspicious of Consort Hui from the first case, because the outcome did not justify the tension and nerves she showed. Then the Zhao family kept popping up like the way you connected them.

Yeah, I don't remember much about the bestie's family background but it does seem like she interacts more with the FL's familiy.
