Ep 32 - RSB’s boss mode really just keeps leveling up—no limit. With the imperial family backing her family throughout history, it all clicks now. That confidence? That arrogance? Totally understandable.
I haven’t watched the latest episodes (30-31) but RSB is more than a boss. At this point, she’s omnipresent,…
I’m with you. At this point RSB isn’t playing chess—she is the game. Apparently operating three steps ahead of everyone at all times. The rest of the characters are just waiting for her next revelation like, “Ah yes, of course you already knew.” The power level is truly cosmic.
Ep 31 — RSB is fully in boss mode. Yes, she’s bitchy, but honestly? I love it since it’s targeted at people who absolutely deserve it. Poor LJL though—I hate what the show is doing to his character. That said… NHM with the flowing hair? Gorgeous...Finally I see some cracks through that icy facade of RSB. She does worry about LJL..
Why does he have to carry his fathers burden is my question. That happened to his father eons ago was related…
I agree with you. Unfortunately, people (in dramas and irl) are far too quick to judge someone based on their family background and upbringing. In dramas especially, a parent’s “sins” seem to stain the next generation by default, as if guilt is hereditary.
Oh no, did they really have to include the trope of past family enmity and hatred? We know that there's going to be trouble for our couple when the ML's identity is revealed 😭I hope the ML can prove his father's innocence very soon and not towards the end of the show.🤞
Guys, from my perspective, Pei Zhen’s (SML) character is quite fascinating. His reels have been going viral…
I agree - I’m not excusing Pei Zhen's actions but I don't find the character hateful because he might have turned out differently if not for his father. While he is an adult and ultimately responsible for his own choices, it’s hard to deny that upbringing and substantial parental influence can profoundly shape the decisions a person makes.
The actor is doing a great job and projecting quite a bit of charisma at the same time. I am glad he is getting the attention to further his career.
You know, I still wonder why watching the leads in dramas accidentally touch hands or brush past each other gives me full-on heart flutters. Meanwhile, in real life? Nothing. And, thank goodness—it would be so problematic if every accidental elbow graze came with such feels. I’d have led so many people on by now.
So agree with you on this!!! I was hoping both leads would be equally powerful and covering each other's backs.…
There have been recent comments about how the show changed the script to be more RSB focused instead of the ML. Some of the "victories" like taking Jiang down should have been LJL's doing but don't know why the show had to make it more about the females. I am all for female empowerment but I am even more for a balanced relationship between the leads.
Totally agree 👍 💯 RSB is just like her grandma who looked down on men and played with them like pets. She’s…
Maybe a happy ending would be they continue living as partners but not in marriage. So no one violates the Rong family rules and he does not have to give up anything. We have other dramas that end happily that way :D
They casted Xue Shu Yu well as LJL's elder brother. They could pass off as siblings.
