I feel the opposite. I don't like female characters pretending to be all weak and submissive, while manipulating the people close to them like Muqing. Poor guy - she clearly wants to be the Crown Princess and expects him to be her lap dog. The way she kept touching him and telling him that he will be by her side forever.

On the other hand, I kind of like the strong woman vibe from the Empress Dowager. She may be one of the villains but she has not treated her own family badly. Even Anning was rendered speechless.

Ah, the Anle-Hanye ship was starting to sail for me, but then I see such great chemistry between Anle and her Mingxi Gege. LOL
I hope for a drama with those two as the main leads one day!

1) how the fake DZY is manipulating Muqing
2) how the Crown Prince cannot let go pf the past and DZY because of guilt. Boy, you should just move on, especially after meeting the fake one. It's so obvious that you are not into her.
3) Anning clearly knows something about the framing of the Di family but she's not doing anything about it, except like her brother, wallowing in guilt.

As for the Empress Dowager, I am on the fence about her. She may seem to be the villain but at the same time, her matriarchal presence is impressive. I kind of wish that she would help Anle to be the Crown Princess just to ensure that the fake DZY does not take that position.

Today's episode (ep 15) is somewhat annoying for me. I dislike:
