Well Anle did say that they were blocked so Hanye was taking stock of the situation. Although I agree with you, the scenes lacked the sense of urgency one would expect.
Lol yes, another bath scene with DCE would not be surprising

Well he thinks LMX is interested in Anle and as jealous as he may be, he has no right to stop them.

Many people asked why isn’t Hanye doing anything about fake DZY. We already know he sent his men to gather intel. So Im going to give him the benefit of the doubt and give him time not only to disprove DCE ‘s authenticity but also to figure out who’s the mastermind and the scheming.

After reading quite a few comments, I rewatched the fire scenes and find that Hanye’s actions were not that illogical. So please those who were skeptical of those scenes, scroll down and review those comments 😁

Yes agree that Wen Shuo would have been perfect for Moshuang! Tbh, I don’t really see him with Yuanqi but hey, as long as he’s happy, I’m happy!
Here’s a thought -since he is ultimately a Di descendant, maybe he and Moshuang will be the marriage alliance couple lol

I’m still on the fence. I actually wouldn’t mind a twist where Anle ends up with her Mingxi Gege. And Hanye ends up ruling the Jing state, regretting that he lost the one and only Anle

That’s true…now that revenge Anle is back, maybe the show will highlight her brilliance more!

I think the clumsiest scene for me was how Muqing got found out by DCE…dude’s not very smart

I don’t think she ever saw him as a friend. I think she was manipulative from the get go, stringing him along so he would never leave her even if they remained on the mountain forever

She has Muqing wrapped around her finger…remember in her mind, she’s taming a dog…

Many of us always thought that she was manipulative from the get go and like you said, she just proved that. She was probably making sure that MQ would never leave her if she was stuck on the mountain forever

- jealous pouty HanYe…he wasn’t even focused on whether DCE was the real deal most of the time. He was antsy because of Anle.
- LMX deliberately making HanYe jealous, knowing that he was watching him and Anle together. Smooth move fixing Anle’s cloak 👍
- LMX playing mind games with the Han siblings. He’s quite the master of gaslighting.
- *** Anle drawing the line with HanYe *** love watching dejected HanYe.
- DCE showing more of her true manipulative side…saying that she was ‘taming a dog’ (Muqing)
- Kick-ass Anle is back although I question why she was playing the heroine alone. What happed to Yuan Shu and Yuan Qin?
- HanYe…no hesitation…Anle always first!
- Misunderstandings all around like people thinking that it was the Marquis who annihilated the Zhong family to silence them but in actuality, it was his stupid son’s mistake, and that it was the Empress Dowager who invited DCE to the NY dinner when she was the last person who wanted that…

Hopefully upcoming episodes continue to be good!

Ep 18 was a little sloppy but good! Some highlights…
