Well, there is the brother and best friend of the FL. They are already a married couple who split up and we are slowly finding out why they separated despite still having feelings for each other. Other than that, there is the ML’s manager/brother (not blood related) and his assistant. They are kind of paired as a couple but it seems more one sided with the assistant being the doormat and the manager is a true jerk!
This show is the kind that is a hit for some and a miss for others. For me, it is underrated with a well written script and dialogue. Despite having multiple sub plots with fact and fiction interwoven, the flow is good and engaging for me.
I like how this show gives out that calming feeling despite having antagonistic elements. It’s like a steady place that I go to among the multiple dramas I’m watching.

Watched up to ep 22 and seriously why is the screenwriter making the good guys so dumb??? Based on the comments, the stupid only becomes stupider. Not sure if I can hang in there.
Binge-watched up to ep 14, and so far, it's a fun watch. Not the best production but I like watching Xu Kai and Gulnezer together. Also, the comic book feel is interesting and the fighting moves are pretty well done. I just wish the characters (especially on the good side) were not so dumb, easily deceived, and falling for tricks.
I was going to download all the aired episodes from Tencent but they took it down for some reason. Only managed to watch up to ep 3 😢 Is MangoTV the only other official site?

I considered that but MG's reaction when BJE asked if they were lovers in her first life didn't indicate that. She addressed him by some title though so I don't think they are related.
