Definitely agree that he’s narcissistic to the point of easily manipulated. He’s a dangerous man also because he seems ignorant and reliant on the sweet talking of others…they don’t show a lot of political shenanigans so we can’t see how he is as the emperor

Yeah I guess he doesn’t qualify as a SML but having no good traits make him such a flat villain. At least making him attractive provides some interest for the viewers… I actually think it’s the eunuch next to him that is manipulative…his constant comments cause the emperor to be out of touch with reality about the FL.
My guess is that he’s going to lurk around like a rat while the show progresses and it’s all going to culminate into a major ending where CX triumphs completely over him

Baby Zhang seems to have a stiff face in most of her shows, just like Liang Jie (current FL in Hi Venus). I like her character better though - adds the extra oomph I needed in the romance dept. my take is probably the more unpopular one since I was really bored by SY’s character that I ignored the romance part until HCF turned adorable being in love.

I think HCF is so indebted and guilty towards Gu Nan that all logic and rationale go out the window. Plus Robin hid such a big secret that there’s loss of trust there

I’m a huge Dilireba fan and I would love to see Dylan paired with her. I think their chemistry would be similar to how it was between her and Wu Lei in the Long Ballad. The best is if they can do a period drama together.
