Only on episode 4 and I don’t see why people are hating on the ML. Everyone wants a strong female lead but CX is way too arrogant and emotional. During the interview, she immediately went on the attack. Getting upset because she has to train in Australia was also stupid. Flying a 737 is different from flying a 787. Of course you have to retrain. It’s not only her who has to do the training so where is the inequality there? I also agree that a good pilot needs good self-discipline. Who wants to fly with an overworked pilot who doesn’t know when to stop. So far GNT has been reasonable in his review of her performance. He’s never denied her piloting skills and repeatedly emphasized that she needs to improve in her attitude and humility. Also no matter which country and which industry, mutual respect is important and from the way she behaves towards her superiors, I would have fired her. A strong female lead does not equal being rude and arrogant. Her attitude is uncalled for when GNT has not displayed misogyny or made unfair remarks. She has nothing to back her up when it comes to the misunderstanding she has about him. She is immediately prejudiced after he questioned her judgement once. And I consider quite sensible of him to question whether it is wise to go to the extreme limit. CX is out to prove herself so much but at least in the 7 years that she spent as a freight pilot, the show did not indicate that she had to go through a lot because of her gender. Captain Cai and her colleagues seemed so supportive. So I don’t see where she got the chip on her shoulder. I do see that Jiang person is sexist so I am sure I will understand more of the hardship CX will have to endure in the later episodes.
Finished watching 8 episodes. lf you have a woman like FL beside you who needs enemies. She honestly has to tone…
I’m only on episode 4 and I totally agree with you. Everyone wants a strong female lead but CX is way too arrogant and emotional. So far GNT has been reasonable in his review of her performance. I just started - two episodes in…how many episodes before we see growth in the two leads? And less frustrating scenes that would make the viewers so annoyed 😠? Is the show trying to make the FL so arrogant that it’s a hate to love relationship between her and the viewers? I actually think sending her for transition training for a bigger plane -787 makes sense. She’s always flown 737s so I find her reaction unreasonable.
I was smiling ear to ear while watching ep 15 - 16.It was definitely the most endearing, most genuine, and most…
I love that she interrupted his attempts to kiss her so that she can say all that she needed to say. No wonder he thought she was going to reject him at first 😆
It’s been a long time since I’ve been won over by such an amazing ML 🥰 Episodes 15 and 16 were so heartwarming and I love love the dialogue between our main CP ❤️❤️❤️ The second CP-to-be are also adorable together❣️
the second male lead is great at floating youth, there he act as genius rich cold and only getting emotional cause…
Ah ok, that makes sense. There was cetainly a difference between they way he carried himself in SJFY compared to SOTM...I gotta learn to pay attention to details like that :D
Up to episode 14...I wish they made the dynamics between He Chu Feng and Sui Yi the same as her and Luo Bin...the friendship is more enjoyable to watch than the awkward lack of chemistry between SY and HCF...even if it was a slow burn romance, there were no convincing or heart-fluttering moments despite the romantic BGM and close proximity scenes. Not giving up on this show yet since I am still rooting for these new actors and director and the stories starting from the second one onward are entertaining enough
Good ending - a nice wrap up to a slice of life drama. I didn’t find the darker turn in the later episodes surprising since throughout the show, there were some sinister undertones being shown. I liked our leads for their consistency and I never thought either one of them as wimps or ones that were easily manipulated. They may not be the so called “strong” characters that people want to see but they stood up for the right things when they mattered. For me, the pacing made sense and the little changes the leads made in their lives had a stronger impact on the story. Character development does not necessarily mean 180 degree change about. I also enjoyed the slow burn romance - no grand gestures are necessary when there was organic and comfortable progression… Recommendable show overall!
After ep 10 where many showed their selfishness in different ways, it’s so nice to see Dae Bom comforting Yeo Reum. I don’t mind the dark turn and I like that the characters are portrayed realistically. Yeo Reum to me was not a doormat. Her reaction and guilt during and after the funeral was perfectly understandable. Now looking forward to the last episode!
This is a slow paced drama which evokes an indie feel. The story picks up after the whole thing with the idol is done…they should have led with the second story…so much better than the insipid plot around fans and idols… The director is doing a good job with the lighting and cinematography. Opening and ending songs are good, background music forgettable. No great acting here but BWJ shows more experience than his co-leads who make me cringe from time to time. I have to watch more episodes but right now, I would have preferred the story to be about the bromance and mystery. Waiting for the second female lead to appear and add flavor to the story since I’m bored by the first one.
lmao, OMG I picked this show because I found the female lead gorgeous and good actress compared to the average…
Yeah, when it comes to looks, it’s definitely subjective. To me, she may have nice features but she comes across as flat and bland. She does not catch my attention at all unlike other actresses who may be considered less pretty but have presence. I’m a girl too but I care more about the female lead looks than the male one 😆 The MLs in this show are eye candy but I agree, they could add some meat to their frames… Still after 8 episodes, the show have other great attributes like good cinematography and story. I like the retro filter they apply to the scenes…so the eye candy factor is less important now 😁
The main female lead is prettier than a few other more well known actresses. The Second female is less attractive…
You're right, the main FL is prettier than some other more well-known actresses but for me she lacks the aura or attractiveness that they have. It's probably because she is still a fairly new actress. Since I am not impressed by her acting or presence, I would have preferred someone stunning so I can enjoy the visuals at least. I have not seen the SFL yet in this show but have seen the SFL in other shows and I agree with you
After 3 episodes, I’m not too impressed with the acting. However considering this is an idol drama, I’ll lower my expectations 😁 The show is entertaining enough to continue but I wish the FL was more attractive..if the show has nothing else to offer, eye candy is a minimum requirement…
Regret not watching it while it was airing. The two leads acted so well. So did the supporting cast! Good story and many including the last couple of episodes were really well done - well worth my time watching!
