Title Hi Venus
This couple is freaking adorable!!! It was so funny how he tried to make her jealous with his ex in the pool and…
it’s hilarious that her best friend figured out that it was a scene from her novel 😆

Title Hi Venus
Rarely I see such Chinese parents as in ML's parents, so open-minded and not forcing their son to date only someone…
So true! I love that he treats his mom as a confidant and that she doesn’t impose her wishes on him

Wang Kai is so fine and great casting choice pairing him with Seven. Acting-wise, they are both excellent!
Any leading man paired with Seven should consider himself lucky. She has awesome chemistry with actors around her age or older like Wallace Chung

Yeah - they finally reached the next level. I really enjoyed the dialogue! The writers did very well! Let’s hope the show continues to be good not like She and Her Perfect Husband that was so good until the last few episodes 😠

I agree to an extent that Cheng Xiao is prone to rashness and quite stubborn but as a reminder, she’s a woman…
Lol - so true, if the leads could just communicate from the beginning. But then we would not have so much stereotypical drama…
I agree with you that this show is raising some good questions about the gender inequality.
Sadly had CX been able to stay in the Freight department, she would have already made captain. After all she was already a first officer there and well respected among her peers. In fact everyone in her group was anticipating her promotion.
What’s even sadder is that now no matter how hard she works and how excellent she is, Jiang calls the shots. There’s no way he will let her pass. That’s why she needs to grow up and not let him get hold of her weaknesses. I hope that happens soon since I don’t know how much more I can take seeing poor CX being treated so unfairly!

But ML and other people also didn’t bother to clear up the misunderstandings🤣
Typical ML - why explain himself when he’s done nothing wrong and in fact tried to help her. Plus GNT didn’t know that Jiang put all the blame on him. I agree Xie could have been clearer. Then poor Ni Zhan - how to clear up a betrayal that only existed in CX’s head?

Title Flight to You Spoiler
Yeah, the thing is that Jiang guy is mighty clever about appearing not to be a sexist POS, whereas GNT tries to…
Yeah we would not have such drama if everyone was just straightforward with the FL. Even Xie was being cryptic when he said that CX misunderstanding GNT was his first punishment 😆 CX even wrongly accused poor Ni Zha for betraying her in Australia.
Our FL has a lot of growing up to do!

What you said makes sense and I do agree that CX is likely to have a harder time as a woman in a male dominated industry but it’s not clear in the show that before Jiang and being transferred to the passenger division, her hard work at the expense of her health was because of discrimination or self-imposed.
It’s obvious that she is competitive, constantly feels the need to prove herself as well as have the last word.
Like you said even her male colleagues were telling her to slow down so they can catch up. That indicated that the pressure she was putting on herself may be because of her personality and less because of external pressure due to sexism.
Even in Australia, she was not singled out as being a woman until the two Australian jerks started mocking the whole team and picked on her as well.
Being demoted two level was way too harsh but it was her own mistake that allowed Jiang to have a reason to let her go. She told everyone else to bear with the Australian guys but she was the one who lost it. She knew the private match was wrong and she could not even defend herself in front of Jiang.
You’re so right that it’s refreshing to have imperfect leads and the opportunity to see character development.
I just feel bad for the ML whose only “crime” for now is being strictly rigid and has high expectations 😁

Finished ep 5 and ML still didn’t do anything wrong. Poor misunderstood guy… it’s all in CX’s head and her bad emotional management. Plus that Jiang guy misled her. I hope that Jiang gets properly punished!

You think that all the pilots in his team has succeeded the tests he made her pass? I don't think so. He is specially…
I think he would be strict and mean to anyone with that kind of attitude. Even her co-worker Song said he did not seem so bad and all CX could say was that he’s mean when he’s alone with her. I agree that GNT telling her to make her bed properly is overstepping his authority since they are not in the military. However telling her to have a healthier lifestyle so that she can meet the physical requirements was perfectly reasonable especially when she does not want to be discriminated against. The other trainees met the standard so why would he reprimand them?

It was Jiang who created the scenarios where both engines died. GNT only pretended that the pilot had cerebral damage and that is to put her in the main pilot seat to see her skills.
After that, he even told her where she could have done better and her only excuse was that it was a simulation so no need to take things so realistically. What kind of attitude is that?
Plus he did not even pull her out of the program and instead recommended that she goes for the 787 training. It was Jiang who said that it would be waste of the company resources and didn’t want to send her. GNT even defended her by saying it is not a waste when you are trying to keep talents.

I only watched till ep 4. Which tests are you talking about? In Australia, she was not singled out for any additional testing. Whatever extra training was by her own choice with her justifying that she cannot give him any excuse. Before Australia, during the test when GNT pretended that he as the main pilot was disabled, it was only because she openly told Song that she will pass easily because Gu was the main pilot and she only has to assist him. She even gave him attitude unnecessarily with her expression. If I were him and I wanted to see her piloting skills, I would have done the same especially when it was in a safe simulated environment. Also, every reason he gave her when reprimanding her was legit. Most of the time, she could not even refute his reasons and she only ended up accusing him of being unfair.
Perhaps I will understand more when I see the next episodes. For now, I feel that the ML is misunderstood and people should be hating on the true sexist misogynist like that Jiang guy.
