Ah I would have preferred the others to be on the show as well. This is one drama where I keep coming back for the other characters including BCF though. I’m still curious to see how he turns out
In past episodes, I heard Lei Chun being referred to as the one whose engagement was rejected by SMZ. Is it that just one scene where SMZ’s father said he could not decide on his son’s behalf or did I miss other scenes where the engagement was properly rejected?

SMZ clearly doesn’t think BCF is suitable to lead the House whereas he readily offers the position to WXS. Irony is that the ambitious one is not fit for the position versus the one who doesn’t care about such things. I guess it’s foreshadowing when SMZ offered the chance for BCF to stab him

Me too! We could tell that she found him handsome and charming from that first meeting 😁 Ah I wish they didn’t introduce the ex-love plot device. It’s hard enough to get Khun to confess his feelings without this extra obstacle!
I am not convinced on Gao Hui but I do think Ouyang Xu loves Pan'er just not enough. He is just a weak character…
I agree - It was Uncle De who engineered a lot of the evil schemes behind Ouyang's back. As for Gao Hui, I think it might be the same case where it was her Wet Nanny who did a lot of the bad stuff on her own accord. Like Ouyang, Gao Hui might not even know about the other ladies that got harmed. You're right - Ouyang is a weak character...he had so many opportunities to redeem himself especially after finding out what Uncle De did, but he chose to hide and say nothing each time.

It is indeed! Especially the huge wedding head gear - I kept wondering why the brides don’t first take it off before the consummation scenes 😂 At least the Story of Minglan got it right
Gao Hui is just bratty and spoiled but she does seem to be committed to Ouyang. Ouyang started out only trying to protect Pan Er from the Gao Family so he was not evil at first. He kind of fell apart afterwards. He should have told Pan Er his reasons from the start

Yeah I am watching both dramas and have to remind myself that FYK is different from SRZ 😂 and he may be the good guy in ADOS. Even though many have commented that he seemed shady here

I love the scene of just the two of them lying on the boat but I cannot help but think how uncomfortable it must be for GQF to have Pan Er’s hair bun and ornaments right in his face 😂
