This storyline is an absolute mess with amateur acting and direction. Ashite Olviga is the only seasoned actor but it is utterly unfortunate that she is stuck with a DUMB character! This show is only getting hyped for the on/off screen chemistry of the lead pair, it seems, thus is only good for tiktok/Instagram edits. If you try to watch the actual show, you'll only end up with a headache.

They can simply upgrade things. For example- boys over flowers. It has not only worked for years but has thrived. The main problem here is that they are not willing to upgrade certain aspects and stick to wattpad-y storyline. This show only worked a bit due to the leads' chemistry, otherwise their story is a complete mess.

Unpopular opinion but one of the reason for this version's success is how FL has been written. I have had difficulty understanding the POV or actions of Chinese, Korean and Japanese FLs, but I am glad that I could understand Gorya's decisions/actions most of the time. She delivered all the important scenes quite well. My favorite is when she says "I love you" to Thyme in the rain, completely helpless and heartbroken as he refuses to recognize her. Her those 3 words and way of saying them hold so much depth that even Thyme's mother seems to be affected by it. Brilliant performance by Tu in that scene.

This! I have always thought that people are overly white-washing the 2ML's character in EVERY single version. Dude breaks up with his great love and gets on the plane, the moment he lands back in his town, he is somehow in love with our FL? They consider us foolish enough to think that he is not looking for a rebound? Nobody can convince me of that "angelic aura" around him

Now that you said it, i think so too. There are a lot of unnecessary things which can be cut short. Modifying and updating us always good and F4 Thailand previously proved it.

I agree with you, it might get really difficult to keep milking money from AshBin fans considering the opposite wishes of all 3 actors. But i think Viva plans to keep it that way until the show ends (that includes season 2, 3, which I think are quite confirmed at this point, considering the internation hype of the show).

I don't think it's due to Andres or Ashtine. Andres' whole family keeps promoting AshDres (together rather than only their son, Andres) in their socials. And they are a celebrity family so they know what they are doing by continuously sharing AshDres things. And last night at a Ticket selling or whatever which was a supposed AshBin event, Ashtine wore a #AshDres t-shirt (this is a big statement, i would say). So, it shows that both AshDres want their love team promotion. Also, Rabin himself seemed quite bored and nonchalant in some AshBin events (according to my observation), so it seems like he also isn't liking this forced fan service. Thus, i think it's all Viva's doing and the 3 actors are quite helpless. Viva knows that AshDres stans will keep supporting them hence money from AshDres fans will keep coming despite mistreatment cuz they adore AshDres. However, AshBin fans are kinda at the losing end (due to AshDres closeness and Rabin apparently following a bro-code according to the director) so Viva's only way of keep holding on to these AshBin fans and milking money from them is to give some content to them. So they are organizing events after events for them. (Because they lack natural content unlike AshDres). This is a thoroughly planned tactic of Viva to keep the money coming while all 3 actors suffer.

There's not one or two things. There's a list of things he does which are pure red flags. Basically he makes a plan to get engaged with JJ despite knowing that she is madly in love with Keifer. Now, JJ is forced by her family to accept the engagement but she and Keifer ends up making out right after her engagement with Yuri (so yeah she kinda cheated first, but she is forced into this engagement). Anyway, Yuri throughout their engagement period, emotionally manipulates JJ and makes her pity him and feel guilty about loving Keifer. She literally begs twice that she loves Keifer but he doesn't cancel the engagement. In midst of all these, he sleeps with Freya (whom he had previous impregnated and left, Keifer took care of Freya). So, Yuri now again sleeps with Freya while he is engaged to JJ, because he is frustration as JJ still loves Keifer. Though he understands at last that it is not possible between him and Jj and breaks off the engagement. Later it is revealed that he plans to kill Keifer, JJ has found it out and cried to her brother Aries so Aries promised to protect Keifer. But since the 3rd book is ongoing, we are still not sure how serious he is about killing Keifer.

not really mixed feelings. It's just a random crush, like I said, it's like crush that you would have on a charming actor or your fav kpop idol. (The "oh, he is so charming" kinda crush) Not real feelings where you would pursue him or get jealous when that actor/idol starts dating someone. So she is not really having/giving mixed feelings here but still it kinda feels annoying!, i guess.

I think the timing is very wrong here. This crush thing would seem much appropriate if it was in the beginning episodes when Keifer was an absolute jerk but Yuri treated her better. The random crush now creates a bad taste. But it is understandable where she is coming from. It's the type of crush we, fans would have on Andres Muhlach or Rabin Angeles (basically, the "oh he is so good looking and charming") Not deep feelings that we have for our own partners (husbands- boyfriends). This is why JJ isn't jealous hearing that yuri has someone he likes rather is amused. But she gets quite jealous and hurt whenever Keifer looks at Ella or any other girl, it seems.

My goodness! She IS the problem! But i kinda get the book. It was written in 2009. Unfortunately, these kinda confusing love triangles were popular back then. (Remember Geum Jandi from Boys Over Flowers, she was in love with one while calling another guy her soulmate 😦). But it is utterly disappointing and disgusting that they are not modifying or upgrading anything, like it's 2025, don't feed us 2000s stuff. This is just plain stupid

I agree that we should never romanticize such things. But the romanticization is bound to happen cuz the show itself does it. Like I said, girlie couldn't sleep the whole night and was dreaming about it the next day. So, the romanticization will happen. We will just have to learn the difference between drama and reality. This is in no way justified in reality.

Umm, why does she have a crush on Yuri now?! Where did this come from! Because till last episode, she was quite consistent with falling for Keifer (blushing only around him) and being just friendly with Yuri. This is not only abrupt but kinda ruins her characterization. I mean i wouldn't tolerate a ML that is suddenly having feelings for the other girl, so the FL doing this is also quite Nay Nay to me. I thought we moved past 2000s love triangles?!

While the matter of consent is true, what makes Yuri's action disgusting is that he is aware of the feelings that Keif and JJ are developing for each other. He got clear admission from JJ and he is intelligent enough to catch Keifer's feelings. So, him doing this is wrong at a higher level. (Not to mention JJ was dreaming about Keifer's kiss the next day).

Thank you for clearing this out. I really dislike it when they ruin the characterization of the FL just to highlight a love triangle. Since it was written in 2009, i hope they will be a bit more consistent with the drama
