I can take any type of angst between the leads but hate third person related problems! Let's hope Situ Ling and his delulu doesn't cross that limit. He is already becoming a big ick for me
After seeing Ep 24 preview this is another cdrama where the ML forgives the FL easily
She was tortured and still protected him, lost 6 petals (slowly dying) for him and his people! She deserves forgiveness more than anything. Some of y'all like to jump the FL any chance you get!

I disagree. Nobody would put a sword through the stomach of the one they weirdly "love" (unless it's a xianxia drama, of course). What Jing Shi felt towards the princess was a mix of guilt, responsibility and gratitute - all of which are signs of his subconscious humanity, nothing else. Too bad he trampled on that last bit of humanity left in him and chose the wrong path
The borderline incestuous implications ruin the fiery chemistry. It has been established that they are not siblings, then why would he still refer to her as "Sis" time and again?! It became extremely uncomfortable after they had already shared a bed!
Jing Shi was quite the hypocrite till the end. Saying that he regretted shooting that arrow at her and that she was the most important in his life while dude didn't even scream or try to catch her while she was falling off. He simply stood there with a pikachu face! Sui Ge would jump after her if she was ever falling off in front of him.
I like how the multiple revenges have been served in this drama. From the Emperor's "My Condolence" to Murong Yao finding his father's corspe in the same position as Suige once found his father in - it was very satisfying. That is to say, I absolutely LOVE our First Prince's characterization in this drama. He is an absolute badass prince, who disobeys imperial orders left and right, does not fear any coutiers rather goes in the royal court to bully the ministers 🤭, murders his enemies without mercy or fear of accountability, is a killing machine but also compassionate towards his own people. I have missed such badass prince/general characters in last few historical dramas. Only one who ties with him is Ling Buyi/ Zisheng from Love Like the Galaxy!
Also did i say how much I LOVE the FL! I think she was the perfect warrior. I am glad that she was never for a second reduced to damsel-in-distress, rather she was the one being the savior! It is ao beautiful how resolutely she loves the ML and protects him! They really make the ultimate power couple 🥰
I started the drama today and this doctor girl is so annoying! She knows how much the ML and FL are in love but still tries to convince the FL to go to the village with her! She almost behaves as if she were the ML! I have never seen this kind of FL’s friend who constantly tries to separate the leads!
Haha I can see that. Though I have grown to adore the 3rd lady’s love story too. Right after my ranting, there were emotional scenes that showed their deep devotion in episode 9-10. I LOVED the 4th lady’s story. Only the 5th one is remaining
As much as I like the comedy and interactions between the characters, there are hardly any interactions between the 3rd lady and her to be husband. All the planning plotting is done by their maids, friends, and mothers. Sometimes they are also plotting against each other but they rarely share the screen together in the first ten episodes, which is supposed to be focused on them. They did not have any heart to heart conversation or any deep emotional moments. Their affection feels too flat. This is very annoying.
