People who want the leads to not end up together need to understand that the leads are supposed to find out the reasons and correct them this time around. That is what this drama is about. I understand how sometimes, love doesn't need a reconciliation but just a closer. (For example- that movie starring Park BoYoung, i forgot the title) but in this case, the leads were each other's happiness. And they were miserable without each ither. Not to mention how shaken up they are over the entry of someone new in the other's life (Ji Woong, NJ) and that led to that kiss. They are still not over each other. So a closer and going on seperate paths will be unfitted here. Because that's definitely not what they want. It will be like the breakup years ago, which was a decision both were forced to make. Repeating it will just ruin the essence. Love, feels, care everything is there. There's just some communication probelms which they need to sit down and solve.
I really like this show but there are a few flaws that I don't like so far.1. I totally get that if you like the…
No i agree as well. Especially NJ's character. I think the sole purpose of adding it was to make Yeon So jealous and later somehow comlicate the relationship between the leads. And this will make the show somehow predictable. This was really unnecessary
I’m just curious, would you feel the same way if she was 40 and he was 20?I’m genuinely just curious. Personally…
Nobody is taking it too far. Lmao! Of course, there are couples like that in real life. (I know 2 celebrity couples like that) and everybody dislikes them. You shouldn't be banging someone your daughter's age! That's normal decency. There needs to be a line!
Dark is a bit more complex than this and I loved it lol.I don't think the issue was people not understanding what's…
Now that's another thing, i disagree with people here. Was not a fan of LMH before it but after watching this drama, i am. Many people pointed out that he seemed distant and couldn't show the raw emotions. But i think that's what his character (Lee Gon) is like. He is a king. He is not gonna show all his emotions. I thought his acting was perfect for a king. The only thing, i had a problem with was the villain. The plot of the villain was a bit messy. He seemed quite dumb to me!
And believe me, the issue IS people not understanding the drama. I saw many comments pointing out stupid plot holes whereas they were not really plot holes and were just some difficult parts to understand.

Even if it's legal, it just doesn't seem right. I would have no problem if she was in her early 20's. But she is not. She is a freakin high schooler for goodness's sake!
Funny how you are saying you ain't tryna stop me from expressing my opinion but is actually questioning me for my opinion. You don't get confused? Wow! Damn!! Good for you! Also, let me clear this, i was confused about the high ratings because i wanted to find what's so good in this drama. Of course many people liked it for it to have such ratings, but what exactly did they like? I was confused about that! And am still confused. Lmao!
I'm on Episode 11 and I agree that the age gap isn't done well. It's less about what their ages are and more about…
I completely agree with you about the age thing. I don't have any problems with him being a 900+ years old goblin. But in his actual life (before that sword got stuck) he was about 40 whereas she is 19. Like wth!
Yes, i do agree that it has many hilarious scenes. But just like i wrote in my previous comment, it has no depth. Those hilarious scenes made it seem like a comedy show which it is not. It is a romantic- fantasy. When i started it, i was expecting romance, supernatural, fantasy and all i found was depth- less comedy scenes. I love hilarious scenes. But not when it has no depth and it ruins the whole genre of the show. Also, the story became quite boring in the middle. It felt like they were dragging. Overall, it's a good funny drama. It's not bad! But it doesn't deserve those high ratings
Nashita Nusibah, no need to be rude. Just because not everyone understands whats happening doesn’t mean that…
Of course not. They aren't dumb. But they shouldn't blame the writers for their lack of understanding as well. If they want keep blaming writers, they should not watch these kinda dramas altogether. But i just realized i was being way too rude about it (due to seeing people blaming the writers and actors again and again. ) I apologize for that
I think the assumption that the people who disliked this drama are those who dont have a good brain is rude. This…
Actually i was very pissed seeing people blaming the writers for some parts of the drama again and again when it's just that they didn't understand that certain part. I just realized i was being very rude. My sincere apologies for that. I
Confused about these bad reviews! Thanks to two of my friends who urged me to watch this drama otherwise the bad reviews made me so hesitant at first. And watching it was the best decision. I have explained several times in several platforms why it's an excellent drama. In here i will just put it in short. "You just need to understand this drama to like it" If you don't want to work your mind, kindly go back to the dramas where you won't have to work your mind. . Don't blame the writers for your lack of understanding. (There, i put it into 3 lines)
Dropped this drama twice. But it was my utter confusion about why it is so overrated, which forced me to complete it. Honestly, it could pass as a comedy drama without depth. But the romance was so freakin disturbing. Like why would you put a 40 years old man and 19 years old girl in a romantic angle? The plot in most of the episodes seemed pointless. It had no depth in the middle and towards the end, it became a complete overdramatic comedy. I loved the 2nd couple tho. They were the only interesting thing in the drama and had perfect depth. Loved the bromance as well. Most of the time, i found it boring. They should have given some more screen time to the 2nd couple. In fine, still confused about the high tv ratings!
The couple's chemistry is just perfect. The actors are doing a great job. I absolutely love the dialogues. Though the storyline gets me confused every now and then but i like it. I like the way it needs some mind work to understand. The twists and turns are interesting. But i am a bit worried that they are rushing with the romance part (i love it. Don't like it when leads take forever) as a result, it might get boring in the last 3-4 episodes. Hope, the writers proves me wrong.
And believe me, the issue IS people not understanding the drama. I saw many comments pointing out stupid plot holes whereas they were not really plot holes and were just some difficult parts to understand.

It's a ongoing drama but you can binge it after it ends. It's really good
