The first time, she went through those turbulence being oblivious of their impact. As a result, at the right time, she could easily sacrifice herself. You do realise that it’s a romance genre, right? You keep going on and on about his duties and three realms but that has nothing to do with my expectations or doesn’t excuse his actions at all.
