The greatest devil of all is that Consort Shu (Su Yuying's aunt), well hidden but causing all the harms.
I should create a voting list of Cheng Yi's adversaries / villains. Hao Chen for me still takes the cake, but there are quite a few here that would make the list too.

As for that devil aunt, the old Chinese adage goes - quiet dog bites people to death.

Someone asked the same question a while back and another user gave the answer way below in the comments. I find it funny too that for such a prominent role in the drama, she wasn't credited with the other cast. Maybe no one has added her into the database :/

Yes, it's time to stop using men as eye candies only even though the plot is female-centric. Adds much more depth to the story.

Yes, Cheng Yi's acting is superb in TPoC and in fact, his acting there surpassed even the acting here. I can't believe it either but Cheng Yi is just such an amazing actor!

Dramas are indeed nourishment for our minds for all the reasons you highlighted. I cannot help but imagine what it would be like not to watch any drama at all. The mind would miss out on so much that dramas could offer.
