Lol. I did not expect Renascence to be so angsty, thought it was going to be like Song of Glory awesome (the beginning part anyway). If you're in the mood for some supernatural thriller, try watching The Journey Across the Night. Guaranteed no angst, only chills :D
Nice and delicious article! Thank you for that :) The description for C-dramas is spot on - they're mostly pretty darn long lol And that gif for Thai lakorns... ooof, that was literally painful to watch :O Generally agree with the rest like Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Not too sure about the Philippines though since I haven't watched any of her dramas yet.
This drama turned out to be The Promise of Chang'an 2.0 (the ethically / morally wrong version) Good or bad, I leave it to the viewers. I'm too invested in it to drop it now, darn...
3 episodes in, seems really interesting. This reminds me of TVB dramas, nice to see so much of HK and even some…
Another thing I noticed - I think the voice dubbing is done by the actors themselves instead of the usual voice actors. I recognise Cherry and Lawrence's accents as well as Joseph Zeng and Zhang Yong Gang's voice.
3 episodes in, seems really interesting. This reminds me of TVB dramas, nice to see so much of HK and even some of the cast are locals (FL and the veteran Lawrence Ng). Not sure what to make of the storyline but Joseph Zeng as usual with his intense acting, so will keep watching to see where this goes.
