today must prepare ourselves enuf sleep for tml marathon last 6 episode.. hahaha sure it will addicted once start…
LOL Your comment made my day! I just can't stand the product placements in K-dramas lately. The biggest culprit - TKEM. That was literally all over the place in both parallel worlds! I think what SF needs more than anything isn't facial mask - it's Japanese pain-relief plasters! :D
yea.... tml will be the last journey..Any recommendation for upcoming?Such as God lost fantasy by peter sheng…
Wow, 20 mins per episode? Lol I think another factor with that show is the limited subs, so probably contributed to the low viewership as well. I really wanted to like it and gave it a try, but in the end I just couldn't.

I dropped God of Lost Fantasy, I just couldn't get into it. Looking at the number of comments after airing for nearly 3 weeks, I think you can already tell lol
"the taoism grandmaster", is this drama good? I always see someone mentioning this drama from time to time.
Ah, Taoism Grandmaster. I saw that last year. It's a pretty good xianxia drama. Central theme is more on friendships and camaraderie. In terms of romance and chemistry, it doesn't hold a candle to L&R, though. In fact, a lot of romance dramas, regardless of genres, pale in comparison to L&R.

No problem. In DYLB, Park Eun Bin plays a more mature student anyway so her age matches the story, in comparison to her younger peers (according to the storyline, I think). The ML is 23 years old, so that's the age gap thing I was referring to.

Yup, true. IC had a revenge plot embedded in it so it would be heavier than ROY. You're right about the age thing - the cast for ROY are all established and mature. It's the same in DYLB but at least the ML looks youthful and the FL's age matches the premise of the story. The only fear at the moment is the impact of Covid outbreak in Korea on the airing schedule, although I'm not sure if both DYLB and ROY are live-filming productions.

DYLB and ROY are both currently airing at the same time. ROY gives me Itaewon Class vibes. I'm intrigued with DYLB because of the classical music theme which hasn't really been done in-depth before. The romance sounds interesting too, with the age gap between the couple. I'm currently following Strangers 2 so after L&R wraps up, will check those out.

How's DYLB? I liked what I saw on the trailer, it seems to be a melodrama? Lately I noticed K-drama trend for this year is either melodramas or sci-fi.
Damn straight. I'll be rage quitting my cdrama tv subscriptions ^^.Bit of foreshadowing so far. The comment about…
Agree. The FL here is actually one of my favourites in Chinese historicals. Most FLs tend to be annoyingly emo, clingy and dumb. But not here. Chen Yao's portrayal balances the strong and the tender sides, with the added burden of her tragic backstory. Everybody (except villains) deserves a chance for HEA closure.
Oh no, don't quit. Many of the endings are not explicit. They may seem as open endings but not really so if you…
I would have recommended Love and Redemption but I'm worried you can't take the angst, so probably some light and fluffy like Unicorn Girl would be more promising :)

The people who really deserve a thorough bashing are the novel authors / scriptwriters. What a bunch of sexist sadists!

The female dubber did In A Class for JJY as well, didn't realise that!
