Ah, Detective L! I read good reviews about it but was initially hesitant because of Republican era. Since it's similar setting to The Eight which is pretty good, I'll give that a try. For Hairpin, I was quite taken by the impressive trailer and intriguing synopsis, but you're right, it all depends on the cast so hopefully Kris Wu and Yang Zi will deliver. That's another year's wait *sigh*
5 episodes in, this is great! Loving the story so far. Just reached the cultivation olympics scene, always looking forward to competitions between sects :D

I watched a bit of My Roommate is a Detective, it looks like a lighthearted comedy so should be quite entertaining. I'm actually excited for similar upcoming shows like Detective, Jiu Liu Overlord, Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, Golden Hairpin and Wind From Luoyang. I hope they don't get shelved by the censorship board though ;/
this drama set the dynamic to a heart-wrenching romance from the 1st episode itself. so for those for are here…
Yes, Young Blood was pretty good for me. Other investigative plots to consider for 2020 would be The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty (it's on-hold for me atm, but seems interesting with some bromance I think) and Miss Truth (cases are good and has a love triangle). And of course Ancient Detective (still a bit sore that it wasn't longer lol).
welcome welcome.... we are waiting for the upcoming ep 45.. another 1 day and 18 hour to go....
Ah ok lol Ya, I think need to repeat some scenes to really understand. Initially I thought XJ and LL were twins. And I thought SF was really badass and all until he started stuttering in later scenes :D

Wow, ff 2x? lol I had to rewatch ep 1 twice just to get my head around everyone and everything. The intro and narration were fast and furious! The setting for this particular xianxia is quite complex, I might need to keep notes for this one else I'll end up looking like surprised pikachu :O
