Haha, yes indeed. This felt more like an epilogue rather than the main dish of a two-course meal. O&O is the one with the more compelling plot. All things considered, this one did heal my broken soul ☺️

I think because the main portion of the novel is based on the contemporary setting hence the longer series for this one. But in the end, it might as well have been shorter lol

Yes, the production crew including the cast will have to be mindful of all the new requirements. The financial aspects I can understand, such as tax evasion and also checking the so-called "capitalist" mindset. The bad behaviours and dodgy dealings (eg Kris Wu et al) hopefully would get cleaned up. I'm more worried about the creative aspects such as BL/GL themes, effeminate male actors etc. I can't imagine that so many planned productions may possibly get cancelled 😕

I understand. Especially these days with the uncertain climate in the C-entertainment industry, it's probably safer to stay in Taiwan until things cool down. We still don't know what the future holds with all the new rules and regulations.

I've only watched up to ep 10 but I've been reading some angry comments on the latest episodes so maybe the script went off the rails 😅
Looks like I'll have to see what happened to her character in the next few episodes.
