On another note, so many guys are infatuated with the heroine. That innocent boy, Zhu Chen, is actually quite adorable. I almost feel bad for him lol

The dao can be the light one (flexible blade) or the heavy one. The one ZLY is using here should be the heavy one, based on how the technique uses it. Of course it's probably just a prop here and not the real thing, but the dimension still makes it bigger than the sword. Not many ladies use the dao, which is why you usually see them carrying the sword instead.
Just something I noted so far. In most of ZLY's past wuxia shows, she uses the sword (jian) while in Noble Aspirations she wields the short sword/ dagger. Here she uses the sabre (dao). The technique introduced here, Snow-Breaking Blade, is not exactly the easiest or most graceful to execute. Plus the dimensions of the blade make it somewhat more unwieldy and awkward compared to the thinner and more elegant sword, in relation to ZLY's stature. Anyway kudos and respect to ZLY for the effort put in to master the sabre.

Case Solver is quite interesting, I think you'll like it as a detective drama. There's another one that looks really good but no subs yet, Dream Detective. It's similar to Psych-Hunter in dealing with the supernatural. I'm tempted to watch it raw if I have to because many people rate it highly.

I'm watching Case Solver which has some bromance so far. I guess you could try the Candle in the Tomb series if you haven't already watched it, there's bromance going on there as well.
Hmmm... I kind of wish the FL's mum wouldn't be so hard on her. Her preferential treatment is grating on my nerves a little. After all the heroic act, not even a pat on the back or a thank you... (re: ep 26)

PH would be great because I've only completed it recently so it's still fresh on my mind, plus it has more vivid and intriguing content, and is more easily accessible. TJATN is not widely available yet, only on YT and the subs are not the best, and the premise is somewhat darker. Writing articles is new to me so will need to learn from you :)
