This is all very fascinating, much like the drama is. It's kind of sad that this is the final installment. I wonder if we'll ever get another production like this in the near future.

Merry Christmas! Very quiet, apart from some fireworks. Folks are still maintaining their social distancing so looks like going to be an uneventful affair this time round. How's the celebrations stateside? Have a nice holiday ya :)

I like the second couple. The way their chemistry is developing is very convincing. Li Sheng seems to be the sustainable long-term partner material, respectful, sacrificial, understanding... WCC appears to be a suitable companion for him as well. Very mature depiction by both.

Anyway, just my personal view. Merry Christmas to all the viewers here :)

Brilliant poetry, for blade number three

Really enjoyed Dong Xuan's scenes. The emotional moments between Ruan Sheng Wen and Sun Jian with the dialogue and BGM in ep 13 - 14 are quite good. That brief sword vs blade duel and the freeze frame cinematography.... very nicely done. The face off between Li Ang and Liu Bo Xiao, and their exchange... The veterans are nailing it, plus the young guy too.
